The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public
Utility District met in regular meeting at the office of the
District on Main St., Truckee at 8 P.M., C.E.Smith, president,
presiding.
Upon roll call the following members were noted present :
E.L.Loynd and C.E.Smith. (Geo.Pace Abesnt-out of town)
The minutes of the meeting of April 6 were read and approved.
The following bills were read and on motion made and carried
were ordered paid:
State Board of Equilization--Use Tax------- 3.85
Bank of America ---- Safe Deposit rental----- 3.60
C.Bdmunds ------ Sal to April I7------------- II5.20
The following cornrminication was read:
From T.L.Chamberlain under date April 15 relative to
refund of Cash Bond of ?I00 put up in the case of J.Mattos. Check
for same was enclosed.
manager Edminuls brought up the matter of a discount on
water bills for those raising Victory Gardens. He was authorized
to allow a discount of 50 per cent over the minimum for those
customers raising a Boni fide garden of over 200 square foot area,
for the months of May, June,July,August and September.
Manager .Edmunds asked for permission to use the Winter
Spvvts Grounds and Pavillion for farm purposes and in return offered
to repair the Pavillion and clean and paint the same, also to
insure the building in favor of the District during the period it
was so used. The Board authorized Edmunds to use the same under the
terms outlined*
No further business appearing, Board adjourned.
