E C McReynolds, a resident at Donner Lake appeared before the Board relative to the annexation of the area around Donner Lake. He asked for information regarding the steps that were being taken to annex this territory and expressed himself as being opposed to such annex- ation and suggested that he might circulate a counter petition opposing the annexation. It was explained to him that the District was de- sireous of helping the people in that territory and that the petition now being circulated among the residents therein was to save the :expense of calling an election, The terms and conditions outlined in the Ordinance #18 were read and explained to Mr. McReynolds.
