A communication was read from H A L Jones under date of May 25th
stating that he would be here to test our electric meters sometime
between July 1st and 15th.
E C McReynolds, a resident at Donner Lake appeared before the Board
relative to the annexation of the area around Donner Lake. He asked
for information regarding the steps that were being taken to annex
this territory and expressed himself as being opposed to such annex-
ation and suggested that he might circulate a counter petition opposing
the annexation. It was explained to him that the District was de-
sireous of helping the people in that territory and that the petition
now being circulated among the residents therein was to save the :expense
of calling an election, The terms and conditions outlined in the
Ordinance #18 were read and explained to Mr. McReynolds. The Board
endeavored to assure him that every effort would be made to have those
directly profiting from the works of the District nay all or the major
part of the costs involved,
