He also reported that the word- on the new tank at Gateway was well under way and the tank should be ready for painting sometime tris coming week. A petition was received under date of Octal er 10th , from resi- dents of the Meadow Lake Park Tract, asp<ing that consideration be given to installing street lights in that area. The petition was signed by thmrteen people, representing 9 families in thhat area. Considerable discussion took place relative to a policy to be followed in installing new street lights, and it was the opinion of the Board that in future, residents desiring street lights in their neighborhood should be expedtibd. to stand the cost of purchasing and installing the lights. Manager Edmunds was instructed to ascertain the cost of install- ing the lights requested in the petition and submit the same to the Board, Chairman Loynd reported that the Unified School District desired permission to dump some waste from grading over on. the District's land adjoining,.
