The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Pubs- is Utility
District -met in regular meeting at the office of the District on
Main St., Truckee, at 8 P Dq. , E I, Loynd, president, presiding,
Upon roll call the following directors were noted present:

The minutes of the meeting of January 31 st were read and arproved ,

Lee Nisbet, representat.,ive of the Donner Lake Co. appeared before
the Board and di..scussed:'-�the proposed water system in the Donner
Lake area. He sli_ggested"-that the preliminary engl_n.eers report
when accepted, by the Board be used as plans for inst:a_ling the
water system by and at the expense of the 'Jotiner Lake 'o .
He stated that the Company felt that they could materially save
on the installation' costs of the system and could do a satisfactory
off.. He also suggested that the Poard place a tax on the Donner
Lake area sufficient to cover the cost of annexatl can and the nre-
1_ imi nary engineering costs.
The Board was unanimous in their opinion that the coiristrixct.ion. of
a water system around the ,lake should Le done under the superv:1_ si on
of the engiIzeer and in accordance with. his final recommendations.
The application data for a loan fort Manned preparations A from the
Community Facilities Service, as sut-Mitted by engineer Macabee,
was read. These plans showed a total cost of t6l,000.00 to construct
,a system to serve the west end D-onn"er Lake tracts. In his letter of
transmittal 1y4r. Macabee suggested that these forms be passed upon
and forwarded to the Sacramento office of the Community Facilities
Service.
The Board laid the whole matter over for further considerat ion .
Manager Edmunds sutmitted a list of uncollectable bills, amounting
for elect-vi.city, t29-3.9 for water and $25.60 for garbage,
and it was moved and carried that these amounts be written off the
outstanding accounts of the District .
