District met in regular meeting at the office of the District on

Main St., Truckee, at 8 P M. , E L Loynd, president, presiding.
Upon roll call the following directors were noted present:

The minutes of the meeting of Mai-ch 14th were read and approved.

The following communications were read:
From Engineer L Cedric Macaree, under date of March 24,
stateing that it would not b e - possit le for him to attend th e
Directors meeting on March 28, ut it would be convenient on Tuesday
evening, April lath. The next meeting of the Loard reing on April
1.1_th9 it was decided to invite him to to present at that time.
From T L Chamberlain, under date of March 22, advising
that he would investigate the matter of the District Levying a tax
on the Donner Lake property and advise at an early date. Communication
filed.
Chairman Loynd stated that he had taken the matter of
fencing the school property up with the trustees and that they had
stated that the school district would fence the property. In the
matter of electric service for the new High School, Board members
stated that Sierra Pacific Power Co. representatives had remarked
that the law required that the school district should receive
service from the largest Utility that was in a position to serve
;'. them. This matter was discussed and Manager Edmunds reported that
he would get an opinion from Attorney Chamberlain on this matter.
II' The month1v report of Auditor White for the Electric and
Water systems for the month of February was submitted to the Board
and after perusal of the same.the reports were ordered filed.
