Due to the absence of !vlanager C. Edmunds on Grand Jury Duty on
December 12, the regular meeting of the Board for that date was
postponed.
Tile members of the hoard of Directors of the Trucj4:.ee Public Utility
District met in regular meetin. at the District office on Main Street.,
Truckee at 2 :30 in T1. , E L Loynd, president, pres:lding.
Upon roll call the folloW4ng directors were noted present:

tl e difficulties of tai:ing such steps under our present Axt and suggest-
ing that the best course to secure ammendments to our Pict. ,'After some
discussion unds z:as authorised to instruct 1'11,. Charaterlain
to drati,r up amendments to our Act to cover th& Werger of aani_tary and
Fire Districts into a Utility District, also such other amendments
as mav be to the advantage of the District in removing deft limitation,
the issuance of B.evenue Bonds and the merger of one or More Utility

ilith reference to the District's letter of Nov 28, to the
Governing Ed of the Tame Unified School Dist. relative to the
capability of thle District to give reliable service to the
school, IJIanager Edmunds reported +`hat no .Vord had 'been received
from that ;;ody. Chairman Loynd stated that he would endeavor
to find out the status of -,he matter and have the School_. Board
