The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee I'ubl is Utility
District met in regular meeting at the District office on Main St. ,
Truckee, at 2:30 p m. , E. L. Loynd, president, presiding,
Upon roll call the following directors were noted present:

The 11ranager reported on Y.is trap to Sacramento on April 24, relative
to certain amendments to the Utility _'ct oThich were before the Senate
Pul_lic Utilities Committee for consideration , He reported that due
to the adverse nature of AB 908 1p;rich was 1eing sponsored 1-:17- rriv f.te
power interests, it was necessar-T to have all..._ tFe Utilittfr L:ills laid
over for two weeks in an endeavor to work out a. compromise which might
be acceptable to the Utility Districts. "I. tie some compromising
amendments were agreed upon with the representative of the pri vat e
power interest, th.e bill was still unsatisfactory 1 ut would come up
before the Committee for consideration on May 8th , at which time a Further
appearance before the Committee by Utilit-r District representatives
would be necessary .

Th-e K`anager reported that the Hill Top Lbr, .`-ill was enlarging its
operations by the installation of a planning mill vih.i ch. would increase

their total load to approximately 110 HP. TI-i s would
necessitate heavier transformers and some small extension
of line to centralize the load.
The TUlanager resorted that all necessary preparations and
su-On_ies had been ta'�en care of ir} connection TrT th the

The Financial statement of the Districts funds -Por A-nri 1
as at the close of th.s. s meeting were submitted to each of
t'-, e Directors.
