The members of the Board of .Directors of the Truckee Public Utility
District met in regular meeting at the office of the District on
Main St.., Truckee at 2 :30 p mo , E L Loynd, President, presiding

l anager Edmunds recommended that the salary of foreman T. Patterson
be raised from %�W`350, per month to 075. per rizonth and that the
salar T advanced for the Chamber of Corlmerce secretary be advanced
from W22 per month to 4250, per month. It was moved and carried

that the Board concur in the recommendation of the ',gal nager and that
the increases be made to start as of November 1.
A cornrniznication iWas_ read from Attornei.r T L Chamberlain, under date
of November 3, relative to the Sierra Pacific Power Co. services
within the original boundaries of the District. Also letters relative
to the same matter from Attorney Cr.amberlain to Sierra Pacific Power
Co. under date -)f November 3, also letter addressed to Attorney
Chamberlain from Manager Edmunds, under date of Noven1-er 2.
Communicatiions were ordered filed pending from the Sierra
Pacific c Power Co.
A communication was read from H A Hunt, Area Engineer, Bureau of
Reclamation of Carson City, Tev. , rPlntive to the retort on the
"Jlasboe Project. Manager Edmunds reported that T,,, r. Hunt had called
at the office on Novern per 6, and had discussed the present status
of this project and had reported that an engineering crew were
making test drillings in Stampede Valle,.T and a further report ors

the pro jest would be made to Congress when they reconvene.
m. Manager Edmunds reported that the prospects of the District eventually,,
getting cheaper power from this project were very good.
A communication was read addressed to the Puy lic Utilities Commission,
under date of November 11, from Manager Edmunds relative to application
No. 32798, in which the Pacific Gas ' Electric Co. was asking for
permission to carry- out certain terms and conditions with the
United States of America*

Mlanager Edmunds submitted in writing to each of the Directors
the present policy of the District 'rith reference to extension
of its water systems to serve new subdivisions. lifter the
same had been read and discussed in � etail it was moved and
carried that the policy as set forth 'ce adopted as the set
policy of the District, until changed by action of the Board.
Director Heller reported that he had been contacted bar some of
the .people living in the Meadow Lake Tract relat z ve fi o the
sign at the entrance to the tract., near tre Highwav stating
that free building sites were available. Objections were
raised, he said on the grounds that -it served t� o cheapen the
residences 11.ui It therein*
Manager Edmunds reported that nine applications for ?�omesites
were on file with the District in this tract to ?:,e liven con-
sideration earlIT next spring and that there were but 3 remaining
parcels which had been surveyed in this tract. After some
discussion the matter was laid on the table.
No further business appearing, Board adjourned.
