The members of the Board of Directors of the Trucl<:ee Public Utility
District met in regular meeting at the office of the District on
Main St. , Truckee at 2 :30 n m. , E L Loynd, president, presiding.
Upon roll call the following directors were noted present:

The minutes of the meeting of August 28th were read and approved.
The following bills were read and upon motion made and carried
were ordered paid:

Chairman E L Loynd announced that due to the fact that he was leaving
for the east to receive medical attention that he would not be back in
time for the next regular meeting,
A communication from the Sierra Pacific Power Co, under date of August
31 was read relative to their services within the original boundaries
of the Utility District. The 141anager was instructed to inform
Attorney Chamberlain of the position assumed by the Sierra Pacific Power
Co. and to request his advice.
Manager Edmunds reported that he had notified R Joseph of the cost
of installing water line into the new subdivision near the hospital
site. This extension would cost ")2000,
Manager Edmunds reported that some misunderstanding with the Sacramento
office of the State Dept of Agriculture relative to the new location
of the Quarantine Station had been satisfactorily settled and that
they had announced that they were going ahead with the station at an
early date,
