Auditor White's statements covering the Electric and Water
department for the month of March were presented to the Board
and after perusal of the same were ordered filed.
Manager Edmunds reported that he was taking interest in the
possible flood conditions along the Truckee river due to the
heavy winter snows in stirring up some action which might result
in the building of some dams and power houses, which might .result
in a source of cheaper power for the District.
Manager Edmunds reported that Mrs. D. Rose and Mrs. F. Giovanni had
been in the office regarding the resetting of a street light pole
on High St. in the vicinity of their home in vghich they were ob-
jecting to the old appearance of the pole. He stated that he had
dssUredl them-.;thatsthe,-.Pole-*woVld-be,.lperfectly safe and it was more
economical to the District to make use of the old pole, at this time.
Directors Helier and Loynd stated that the matter had also teen
discussed with them.

The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public
Utility District met in regular meeting at the office of tre
District on Main St., Truckee, at 2:30 p m., F L Loynd,
president, Presiding.
Upon roll call the following directors were noted present:

Mrs. I Firpo appeared before the hoard with reference to purchas-
ing lot 1, Block 3 in the Donner Lakeview subdivision, of which
the District owns one-half interest. The Board fecessed the meet-
ing to go out and view the lot personally and ur.on reconvening
they decided to get further information as to the value of the lot
before making a decision.
A communication was read from T L Chamberlain under date of. April
loth, relative to an agreement with R Joseph, covering his build-
ing over our right-of-way.
Also letter dated .Vril 11, from T L Chamberlain relative to ex-
tension of our water line into new Joseph subdivision, together
with an answer to the same under date of Apr 29, making an offer
on the pipe that Mr. Joseph had on hand.
Communication was read under date of Apr 21 from Paul H. Chamberlain
regarding proposed agreement with the Sierra Pacific Power Co.
covering violations of the original agreement between District and
Company. Above communications were ordered filed.
A communication was read under date of April 29 addressed to the
Truckee Fire Commission with reference to the relocation of the
fire hydrant on the south side of the Truckee river. After some
discussion it was moved and carried that this communication be
signed by the Chairman of the Board and forwarded to the Fire
Commission,
Manager Edmunds brought up the matter of a delinquent bill for
Ferguson Bros. Supply Co. in the amount of $521.90 and suggested
that the same be referred to Attorney Chamberlain for collection.
The Board so ordered.
A letter was read under date of Apr 18 from H A Hunt, Engineer for
the Bureau of Reclamation at Carson City, Nev. with reference to
the Washoe Project. Same was referred to the manager.
The financial statement of tre E? ectric and 'eater Fund for the
month of April as at the close of this meeting was submitted to
each of the Directors for their information.
No further business appearing, Board adjourned.
