A communication was read under date of July 31 from Paul H, Chamberlain
relative to the terms of the agreement to permit the State to remove
sand and gravel from the southwest 4 of Sec 17 in the Meadow Lake Park
area, also attaching three copies of the agreement for signature of the
District. Inasmuch as the State desired to start work at once and the
agreement contained the terms and conditions outlined between represent-
atives of the State and the' Board at the previous meeting, the president
and acting -secretary of the Board signed the same as of August 1st, pend-
ing approval of this meeting. It was moved and carried that the action
of the president and acting -secretary in signing the agreement is hereby
approved and authorized.
A letter dated August llth from Janet Leary relative to a paragraph in
her title to a certain tract of land which she was purchasing from the
District and in which she objected to certain water right restrictions
was read, together with the answer to same under date of. August 12 in
which the Manager set forth that the District had no authority to amend
the deed and remove this incumberance.

The Managerreported that the new Sensimatic Billing Machine
had been delivered but that certain Parts were missing on the
machine and it could not be operated until a certain control
panel had been received.
C. A. Tollef son appeared before the Board and stated that he would
be interested in purchasing the Meadow Lake Park Property and asked
that the Board give him a little time to endeavor to arrange for the
