The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility
District stet in regular meeting at the office of the District on
Fain St., at 2 :30 p m. , E L Loynd, president, presiding.
Upon roll call the following directors were noted present:

The minutes of the meeting of November llth were read and approved,
The following bills were read and upon motion made a-nd carried were

Resolution # 5202 attached to and made a part of these minutes was
read and by motion made and carried adopted by the Board, and a
copy of the same ordered sent to attorney T L Chamberlain with in-
structions to him to draw up the necessary papers conveying the prop-
erty mentioned in the same to •G E Lewis.
The Manager read a copy of a letter under date of Nov 20 addressed to
the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, relative to new street lights along
the main street of Truckee.
A letter was also read addressed to the Dept of Agriculture, under
date of Nov 18, relative to the payment of the bills of the Inspection
Station.
A communication was read from w H Williams of the Stockton Box Co.
under date of Nov 22, relative to the establishment of a new substation
near their Truckee Mill. The Manager again outlined the expense
involved in serving this mill.
Chairman Loynd stated that he had a call from Nor. Polk, Right -of "lay
Agt . Dept of Highways, asking that the Board members be present at a
meeting at which Senator Johnson, T L Chamberlain and G E Lewis
would attend in Marysville tomorrow, Nov 26. The Manager called
Mr. T L Chamberlain and it was his opinion that it would not be
necessary for the District to have anyone at the meeting and that if
anything came up effecting the District he would advise the Board.

The Manager was instructed to advise Mr. Polk that the
District would not be represented by the Board at..th iz
meeting.

A communication was read from Paul H , Chamberlain, under date of
December S. relative to Ferguson Bros. attachment case - filed.

The Manager reported that copies of the preliminary report from
the Inter -County Title Co. with reference to the land in Meadow
Lake, west of the High School had been received, and a copy had
been given to G E Lewis, who stated that he would have Mr. R N
Little look over the report: and would advise us if satisfactory.
It was moved and carried that Mr. G E Lewis' option for the pur-
chase of this land should expire as of January 2 , 1953 at which
date the balance of 14,000.00 must be paid to the District, and
that Mr. Lewis be advised accordingly.

4 do hereby RESOLVE that the hereinafter described real property,
5 now owned by the District, is not needed or necessary for the
6 present or future needs of Truckee Public Utility District; and
7 BE IT 1URTHER RSOLVED that it is for the best interests
8 of Truckee Public Utility District that said real property be
9 sold upon the terms and conditions, and subject to the restric-
10 t ions and reservations hereinafter set forth; and the president
11 of the Board of Directors and the secretary of the District are
12 hereby authorized and directed in the name of the District to
13 execute any and all instruments reasonably required to accomplish

of an area 200 feet by200 feet, to be iMeeted by the District
2 within one year from the date of the conveyance of said real
3 property, to be used as a pumping site, and that when said area
4 has been so selected the same shall be surveyed, and a copy of
5 the survey shall be placed of record in the office of the County
ra Reeorder of the County of Nevada, to the end that the location
7 of said reserved area may

8 conveyance shall (als6'-,lbe made subject to the reservation that the
9 grantor reserves to itself all necessary and ecavenient ritts
10 of way along, over end across the conveyed premises, and 'beneath
11 the surface of the conveyed premises for pipelines and electric
12 transmission lines, the selection of said rights of way to be
13 made by the District as the needs of the District may require,
14 and that there shall be no limitation in t ime as to when the
15 District shall make the selection of the location of said rights
16 of way, or any of them; and subject also to the cond ition that
17 the District reserves to itself the exclusive right for the
18
period of twenty"five ( 25 ) years after the date of the grant of
19 said property from the District to the purchaser to distribute
20 and sell water for domestic, firrigat ion and industrial purposes
21 on the area conveyed, and the exlusive right to transmit, conduct,
22 distribute and sell electric energy for all purposes within the
23 area conveyed by said grant.
24 3. The District reserves to itself rights of way for all
25 existing District facilities now upon the conveyed premises, and
26 reserves from the grant all District facilities now upon said
27 pr emis e walso a right of way to and from the 200 feet by 200
28 feet pump site area, and a right of way over t he conveyed
29 premises for pipelines and powerlines to said pump site area,
30 together with the right to maintain, use and operate the same.
31 4. The grant of said premises shall, 1*n the event that the
32 purchaser desires, contain an agreement on the part of the
