The 1,, anager brought up the matter of an office bia_ildi ng for �N"
the District which could be jointly used by other Districts
as well as the County. He suggested the site on Suring St.
between upper and lower High Streets, which is awned by the
County. The Hoard authorized the Ivanager to see if this loca-
tion could be acquired.
The Manager stated that he ;Would like to attend the conference of
the California Municipal utilities Association, which. will be held
J_n San Francisco, statting Tues�ay, June 9th. This being the regular
muee�ing, date of the Board, it was inovLd and carried that the next
regular 1neeting should be held on iy"onday, June Sth at 2:30 p mi,
The ��anager reported that IMIr. Baxter of t' . e 5tat e Hoard of health
had inspected our Gateway well and suggested that we chlorinate
thi s we!". and then have sa npl es taken and analyzed , as he could
see no reason from the location and surroundings of this well
why there should be any contamination f rom same. The Y-anager
reported that the well had been chlorinated and would be allowed
to stand for a few days and thoroughly pumped out and samples
sent to Sacramento for analysis.

The members of the Board of Directors of the Truce e e Public Utility
District met in special meeting at the office of the District on
Main St., at 2:30 p mi- , E L Loynd, president, presiding.
Upon roll_ call the following directors were noted present:
Chas. R. Heller H T Langille B L Loynd
The meeting having been called for the special purpose o._`opening
bids for 1 - 1001, 000 gal 1 on redwood tank, and th ere being two
bids received, the Board proceeded to open the same and found a
b id subm�l tt ed by the G 7,11 Null Engineering Co. of San Francisco
for the total amount of ��6388,00.
Another bid was received from the Santa Fe Tank and Tower Co. of
Los Angeles ,for a total bid of Y 524 . r70 Plus taxes . lifter figuring
in California Sales Tax of M2.b2 this brought this bid to a total
of $5359,32. Both bids were submitted to comply with specifications
drawn up by the District.
The bid of the Santa Fe Tank Tower Co. being the lower of the
two bids received, it was moved and carried that this bid be
accepted and the firm be so notified.
