A letter was read under date of May 26 from T L Chamberlain to G E Lewis setting forth the present status of the case before the Court. Mr. Lewis then produced maps of a proposed subd i vi s ion of a portion of the land west of the High School and explained his pro -nosed leasing of the same to the Board members. The Board approved his proposition in principal and the matter was laid over for further consideration* The Manager stated that he had received an acknowledement for our order for 1-100, 000 gallon Redwood tank from the Santa Fe Tank and Tower Co. and that the same was scheduled to be completed by June 25. He further stated that arrangements were being made to put in the concrete foundations for the tank and he hoped to have the same finished by the end of the coming week.. The Manager submitted the records of 11 customers whose bills were uncollectable, amounting in all for Electric �121.36 and Water 19.80. It was moved and carried that these amounts be, written off from the bills receivable of the District as uncollectable . �71 Chairman Loynd reported that E. Tonini, owner of the Truckee 'later System had agreed to a sale of that system to the District for the sum of 915,000.00 on terms to be agreed upon.
