Ruane tt 35.30 E Mattrom n 61090 Copies of the Auditors Report by Harry M Straine & Sons for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1953 were presented to each of the Board members* Letters were read under date of July 16, 189 Z5 and July 27th between T . L. and Paul H. Chamberlain and the District relative to proemdure in the purchase of the Truckee Water System. A letter way read under date of July 20th from F ' A Tracey, Press Sierra Pacific Power Cos. relative to new point of service at Stockton Box plant. It vas moved and carried that the President and Acting -Secretary be authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the Districts A commication was read under date of July 24th and July 25th between Paul H Chamberlain and the District relative to an Ordinance changing the time of holding elections. The Manager brought the matter of 3000* payment due on the note at the Bank of America on August 2nd and stated that he had con- sulted R E Saunders -of the Bank relative to renewing the note for the full amount of 6000* for another year. He stated that Manager Saunders had agreed to such renewal subject to approval by his head office, It was moved and carried that the action of the Manager requesting the renewal of the note be approved.. '"" The Manager reported that surveyor .F. Seigfried of Nevada C1ty t had completed the survey f d r the location of a new tank north. of the Truckee Resort and that the preparation of the site and a road leading into it would be undertaken at an early date. Commnications were read under dateof July 15th and July 22nd to the Donner Lake Improvement Association and to the Truckee Sanitary District relative to garbage collection in the Donner Lake area. The Manager reported that he had received no reply from the Truckee Sanitary Dis tri. ct. The Manager also reported that no payments had been received as yet from Paul Rausch, garbage collector on his delinquent note covering purchase of dump body. A discussion took place relative to the sale of land along the Brockway road and the Manager stated that he had tentatively set a price of $2500. perparcel of 100 x 1.00 ft along the north side of this -road and had designated it as Hill Top Subdivision #1- Block A. He estimated that there would'be approximately 20 parcels in this block. The Manager read a rough draft of a proposed add offering this land for sale and giving preference for a limited time to voters of the District. The Manager reported that he had agreed to a meeting to be held in the of f i c d of the District this evening of property owners of the Meadow Lake tract who were desirous of discussing some of the problems in that area. No further business appearing, Board adjourned. Ir ent Ea=Officio Secretary
