HomeMy WebLinkAbout1953-12-29 Min - BoardThe Manager reported that G E Lewis had spoken to him relative to a payment on his note covering the purchase of the Meadow Lake land which will become due on January 2. He had stated that there was a possibility that he would not be able to meet the payment when dine. The Manager was instructed to take the mmtter up with Mr. Chamberlain and get his advice on the pro- cedure to be followed in such a case. The Manager also reported that a payment would become due by the District to Mr. Tonini on the purchase of the Tonini Water System on January lst . He reported that the District should be in a position to make this payment which will amount to $1500, No further business appearing, Board adjourned. Communi- cations were filed. ,A communication was read under dat4 of Dec 23 from J E Joer er enclosing check for $100. for part payment on pasture for 1554, A communication was read under date of Dec 1$ from the Manager to Paul H. Chamberlain relative to the Donner Lake Water System. Also the draft of a letter under date of Dec 28 to the Donner Lake Development Co., relative to the same. This latter letter was passed upon by the Board and the Chairman was authorized to sign the same. Letters were read under date of Dec 1$ from the manager to Mr. T L Chamberlain and answer to the same under date of Dec 21 from Paul H. Chamberlain relative to the District's position in the organization of a County Service District by the Board of Supervis6rs - in the Meadow Lake area. Communications were ordered filed. Communications were read under date of Dec 10 from Mr. T L Chamberlain and Dec 14 from the 'Manager to �Ivir. Chamberlain and Dec 15 from Mr. Chamberlain to the District, all relative to the Highway condemnation in the Meadow Lake area against Mr. Lewis and the District. Also with reference to the payment due on Mr. Lewis' note, ""The Manager presented eight uncollectable accounts, .$1 for 1 �' $17.79 cc ts, amounting to , .79 e ectric service and for water service and it was moved and carried that these amounts be written off as un- collectable.
