ADOPTD by the Board of Directors, Truckee Public Utility District this 12th day of October 1954, by the following vote: Ayes: Directors Loynd, Heller and Langille Noes.- alone Absent: None Communications were read under 'date of Sept 30 from the District to T L Chamberlain, under date ofOct 4th from Paul H. Chamberlainto the State Dept _of Employment,, under date of Oct loth from Paul H. Chamberlain to the District; under date of Oct gth from Carl J. Blechinger of the Dept of employment to Paul H. Chamberlain &qd under date of Oct 11 from Paul H. Chamberlain to the District. All relative to the establishment of a District Retirement System. Further consideration of this matter was left to the gathering of more information which was to be submitted by fir. Paul H. Chamberlain. A cokununication wauread under date of Oct llth from. Paul H. Chamberlain to the District relative to a quit claim deed which had been discussed by Mr. Polk of the Division of Highways with the Board at its ineeting of _Sept 28th. In view of the facts set forth in this co. munication it was agreed by the Board that no further action would be taken, in the matter. A statement was read under date of Sept 14 from T L Chamberlain relative to the cost and expense of services rendered to the District in connection with the annexation and development of water in.the Donner Lake area. The sum total $382.40 and it was noted that this sum had been covered by the retainer fees. The Manager reported that he had asked for this statement so as to be able to allocate this expense to the Donner Lake area. A communication was read under date of Sept 29 fro1 the District to Paul Rausch relative to a balance owing the District of 269.60. Chairman Loynd reported that 1 r. Rausch had contacted hire and had advised that he would be in a position to clear up this bill in full as soon as he sold some hogs which he expected to do in the near future. Chamberlain, also under date of Oct 18th from Paul H. Chamberlain to the District relative to the setting up of a retirement system. Manager Edmunds reported on the meeting he attended in Reno regarding the Washoe Project and read a statement that he had prepared out the position of the Utility District regarding this project, The Manager also reported on a meeting called by the Utilities Commission this a.m. to consider the of the Sanders Water System. abandonment Communications were read under date of Oct 20th from the Manager to Paul H. Chamberlain together with certain papers related thereto and from Paul H. Chamberlain to the District under date of Oct 22, all relative to the Sanders Water System, The Manager reported that he had advised the Commission that the District was not prepared to pay any sum of money for the Sanders System, inasmuch as the District would be under an expense of approximately $2000.00 to prepare and connect up its present systems with the Sanders System. The Commission had the matter under consideration. Report of Auditor White for the month of September covering the electric and Water systems was presented to the Board and after perusal of the same was ordered filed.
