Upon rol-I call the following directors were noted present. J Hintz- labor*- 3-1 to 3-15 120.20 Tidewater Asso Oil Co- gas & oil 26.94 Richfield Oil Corp- 29920 Braun -Knecht --Heiman Co- HTH Chl©r tblts 77.71 Manager s reported that an engineer from General Electric Go, called at the office and that he had discussed with him the installation of flouresent and mercury street lights ,along the main street. The engineer had stated that he would have a proposal drawn up by their lighting engineer in San Francisco and submitted for the District t s consideration, At this point N F Dolley, Chief of the Truckee Volunteer Fire Department, entered the meeting and requested that the District donate an old Dodge chassis that was stored in the warehouse, to the Fire Dept. so that parts could be used for the repair of tome of their equipment. This truck was of no further use to the District and it was nwved and carried that the same be given to the. Fire Dept. Dolley thanked the Directors and left the meeting. The Manager brought up the question of a successor to his position and the need for finding a y capable man to break in for this job, He stated that he had been in communication with Rayond Barth of Lucas, Kansas, who had a similar position with that town and _had had extensive experience in electric distribution work, as well as water and sewer systems. He advised that Mr. Barth had visited Truckee and liked this locality, and was prepared to come the latter part of May after the schools had closed. It was moved and carried that the Manager arrange with Mir.
