A communication was read under date of June 25, from C. Bernard White, Jr.
Consulting Engineer of Sacramento, regarding appraisal of the Donner Lake
line of the Sierra Pacific Power Co. dovering the scope of such appraisal
and the probable cost of same . It was moved and carried that 11r. White
be instructed to proceed with the appraisal.
A 6ommunication was read under date of June 26, fron, Paul K. Chamberlain
regarding the annual .financial statei-aent of the District. Co.rmunication
was ordered filed.
A copy of the letter, under date of June 15th, sent by the District to
Albert W. Clayton, Reno, Nevada, regarding the disposition of the lot in
the Meadow Lake district, was read and ordered filed. "`"
The 14anager reported that the dump body formerly sold to pa'4 Rausch
had been resold to Gale Broirn, who had agreed to complete the outstanding
payments at 420. per month until the total of �100. rep -.airing had been paid.
Auditor White's report for the month of .1-lay was presented to the Board and
after perusal by the sane was ordered filed.
Manager Ed--zunds reported that -1r. 1-1crienzie, accompanied by Ivlx. Andre had been
in the office and taken some notes, preliminary nary to having "Ir. Andre survey
and plot the land in the rear of the California Inspection Station, and Mir.
T-IcKenzie had stated that he hoped to have the plans ready to lay before the
Board at an early date.
Manager 4munds also reported that 11r. J F Siegfried, surveyor from 1levada
City was completing the survey of the land along the Broclkway road in which
1�x. Hedlund, Sr. was interested as a site for a trailor court, and that a
plot of the same should be ready within a few days.

The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District
met in regular meeting at the office of the District on Main St., at 9:30 a m

A communication was read under date of July 5 from Paul H. Chamberlain,
relative to a comprehensive insurance policy and his discussion with Mr.
M J Willback, agent for the Fidelty and Casualty Co. of Now York, After J
some discussion relative to the terms of the policy, the Manager was imm
structed to get further information on coverage of personal automobiles
in District service and increase in bodily injury liability.
The Manager discussed the cost of serving the U S Forest Service headquarters
with a private pressure system and estimated the cost around $1500, He stated
that the matter would be further discussed with District Ranger, E. A. Grant.
The Manager reported that Mr. McKenzie had advised him that he expected to
have the plans ready for the Board at this meeting, so far had not appeared.
(plans for new subdivision)
The Manager also reported that Mr. Hedlund had met with Mr. Ralph Jamison
representing the State Housing Commission and Mr. Wynan, County Sanitarian
and had gone over with there, plans for the new Trailor Court on the District i s
land on the Brockway Road. Mr. Hedlund stated he was returning bome to
negotiate a sale of some property and would be back soon to settle with the
District in developing this land.
