Straine & Sons had completed the audit of the Districts books over the past three days and that their report should be submitted some time within the next ten' days. Auditor White's reports for the E1ect*i.c and Water Dep is were submitted and after perusal by the Board were ordered filed. The manager reported that during the audit of the books Mr. Strain had brought up the question of a blanket bond to cover the District's employees and that in joint consultation with Mr. Paul Chamberlain by telephone, it was decided that the directors by law would have to be individually bonded, but that all other employees could be covered by a blanket bond. Further discussion with Mr. R N little, local agent for the bonding company, was had and it was agreed that Mr. Little would have the Bonding Company draw up a bond as outlined in the conversation between Mr. Strains and Mr. Chamberlain, The Manager also reported that Mr. Little had agreed to have an overall coverage insurance policy drawn up wherein the body liability would be in- creased to U-)hundred and three hundred thousand dollars and wherein it would be noted that employees' personal cares would be fully covered while employed in the District t s work, The Manager reported that Mr. McKenzie had submitted a drawing of the proposed subdivision on the land in the rear of the Checking Station and after checking the same it was moved and carried that the lagout as shown in the plans would be satisfactory to the District. The Manager also stated that no further word had been received from Mr, Hedlund in reference to the proposed trailor court on the Brockway Road.
