Fox of the State Highway, had requested information relative to the cost of connecting ui t ,e fire hydrants at the •Iaintenance Station -vT t h the District's line wf en the sale of the Sanders :`°rater Systeam was consmi ated. It was decided after some discussion that the charge should be based upon actual time and labor involved. The Maria er advised that Jerry Lewis had inquired regarding electric service at his gravel pit south of Highway 40 and west of the High school grounds. The 1,iana ger explained that the load would approximate 1000 hp and that with our 2400 V primary systems and the distance fro_,,. the substation, the only wa�r such a load could be served �Tith A ro-oer voltage and regulation would be to rebuild a considerable portion of our primary line and plat in regulators. The l ana.ger expla1 ned that with the hopes of the District obtaining the Donner Lake line of the S PFCo . in the near future, it would seem proper for the District to relinquish the exclusive rights to serve this gravel installation,due to a clause in our deed of sale, and permit service to be had from the Donner Lakke line. A motion was made and carried authorizing t1he -3ana er to take the _latter up irdth Supt. P. Gaiennie of the SPPCo. and see what arrange=rent could be worked out. Tire I1anager reported that no further word had been received. from. Attorney Grossman of Colfax, relative to the account of Jack Lockridge, or from: J E Lloyd, relative to furnishing water to others off his preitiises. The I-Ianager brought a-p the -natter of hydrant rental at the Division of Highway Maintenance yard in Truckee, when the sa.,_1e are connected to the District's systems.. After so -le discussion it was moved and carried that an annual char ge for private hydrants of this nature would be 4�1�5.;�0 per hydrant, The Imager reported that the notice of the annua,i. election had been printed in the Sierra Sun and that he had posted tl,ei at 3 places within the District as required by law.
