The me-mbers of the .Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District
met in special called meeting at the office of the District on Main 3t., at
10:15 a m, C k Heller, president, presiding.
Upon roll c a.11 the f ollowin_; Directors were noted present

Chair:,Lan Heller stated that this meetin-; had been called for the x)ur°pose
of considering the VIanagert s report on the recent bids received at the
regular meeting of Thursday, April 11, for pipe and valves and voles and
cro s s , ar -as .
The jIanager sub-�itted a state -lent of the 'aids as received : wherein it showed
that the bid of the Record Suppl-7 Co of Reno ;-T-4evada. was the lowest bid on pipes
and valves and as such was to the best interest of the District, it was therefore
moved and carried that the bid of the record Supply Co. be accepted by the District.
The K-anager then submitted a states Lent of the bids received for poles and cross
arras which showed that the Line Material Co. of San Francisco was the lowest bid
subm_ -t t ed. It was .roved and carried that the bid of the Line lat erial Co. be
accepted,
Co: zaunication was read under date of Apr 2, from 11ilson Craven to Paal H.
Chamberlain and under date of April 11 from Paul H:. CharLb erlai n to the District
relative to the Sanders Water System and en -closing three copies of an application
by the District and 2 r. Sanders to the Public Utilities Com} fission, covering the
sale for the Sanders Viater System. The following Resolution was then introduced:

"-` BL IT i�;SOLVE by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public
Utility District in special meeting asse.--ibled this 15th day of April, 1957
that for the purpose of facilitating the approval by tine California Public
Utilities Coi;�-:�ission of t1le purchase of the Sanders Water Systerl by the
Truckee Public Utility District, that Chaiman Chas. R. Heller and Acting -
Secretary, C. r unds of the Board, are hereby cauthorized to sign and execute
,an application drawn up by Pa:.l H. Chamberlain, Attorney for the District,
and dated April i5, 1957 and to forward the same to 11,1r. CxnaLberlain for further
action. It was moved and unanL ously carried that the foregoing resolution
be adopted.
A copy of the escroVi instructions to the Inter -County Title Co. under date of
April 12th, Order rt20881 and signed by Carl H. 1,11orrow, as lender and Eve
Popovich and Silbert 1-1cKenzie5as borrowers, wi_Ls read, wherein it was set forth
that the sum of 301000. 00 had been Dlaeed in escrow to cover pay:.aent to the
District on the land and installation of ut-i lines on the proposed Donner Trail
Subdivision. It was also stated that payment would be made to the District
upon final filing of the subdivision reap and the receipt from the District of
an option on the 40 acre tract adjoinin. the subdivision on the worth.
The Board considered the terns of the option to be given and after some dis-
cussion and final approval, it was ;Loved and carried that the ter�;gs of the option
as agreed upon by the Board should be subi,litted. to Attorney Cha•_ berlain for
approval .
No further business appearin , Board adjourned.
