Chas. ����. and Bernice 11L. Collier, relative to cancellation of t=le lease
on a portion of the roachnray into the Do_�ner Tra-_ls subdivision. 11he1-Imager

Snack bar to the rear of the Unlon Service :3tation, nearby and that would
be done in the very near future.

At this point neA Reid of Donner `Lar;e entered the ,eetik,

in answer to one of Apr-j_1 19th from the District, coverin- instructions
and envlosing a copy of t1:e ballot to be used at the :general election on
i.a-%r 7th. aa: ie was referred to the 1.1anager.
The Manager informed the Board thet "Ir. T u Sclmitt of Clarksdale, Miss,
was on his way to investigate the possibility of acceptinrr the job as
superintendent of the District. He was due to arrive this a a but his
Mane was grounded and he could not be in until late this P .m.
Rex L'eid then asked t Le Board ia1zat District property was available for a
housing project Vfhich he was interested J— building in cooperation with the
Denney Logging Company and tie Bur�ze�� L�� ��er Company to house e�_?�loYees of
these concerns. A discussion took place relative to various properties
which might be suitable and i1r. heid stated that the Forest Service had
advised hiss that property along Highway 89 in the vicini.tv,T of the Cemetary
_-fight be lade available if a request was received from the District. It

Larch were presented to the Board and after perusal of the s a--ie t.Liev were
ordered filed. +
Mr.Cook asked the Chai�ian if special meeti__gs without due public notice
were legal. He was advised that such ..leetin s were onl-,,r � _ el.d when it was
necessain to facilitate th co-r_gpletion of some action which had al read,-,T
been acted upon and authorized by the Board, and that no new business
was taken up at such ZieetLigs and that in the opinion of t l-e Board it was
legal. He stated that he had doubts about the legality of sach �eeti.ngs
and viould enquire further . into the _ ria.tt er.
