Edmunds Manager and/or I'llinifred Kamp Treasurer of this corporation be, and they are hereby authorized to withdraw funds of this corporation from the said account upon checks of this corporation, signed as provided herein with signatures duly certified to said bank by the Secretary of this corporation and said bank is hereby authorized to honor and pay any and all checks so signed, including those drawn to the individual order of any officer or other person authorized to sign the same. No further business appearing, Board adjourned. .f i Adting-Secretary tr Gliai rman June 27, 1957 An informal meeting was held at the office of the Sierra Pacific Power Co. in Reno at 3:00 p m between Directors dial Welch, George Kaspian, Manager Edmunds and V B Chamberlain, representing the District and Mr. F A Tracey, President, Frank Gai.ennie, Supt . , Mr. Orrick, Attorney and four other members of the staff representing the Sierra Pacific Power Co. The matter of the acquisition of the Donner Lake Power Line of the Sierra Pacific Power Co. by the District was discussed in some detail. Mr. Tracey stated that the Company would take the matter under consideration and advise the District of their position in the matter in the near future. ic in g-Secretary r `Chairman Truckee, Calif. July 11, 1957 The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District met in regular meeting at the office of the District on Main St., at 9:30 a m. Upon roll call the following Directors were noted present: Hal Welch Jack Neugebauer George Kaspian (absent) The minutes of the regular meeting of June 27th and the special meeting of the afternoon of June 27, held by the Board with officials of the Sierra Pacific Power Co. were read and approved and the.,.following bills were read and upon motion made and carried were ordered paid: 84. Chamberlain, acknowledging. receipt for retainer for month of June and stating that as at this date nothing further had been heard from the Sierra $acific Power Co. A letter was read under date of July 3 froiA the Contractors State License Board correcting the quotation they had made i i their letter of June 19 and setting forth the right section covering the operations of the District. A letter was read under date of June 2$th from Paul H. Chamberlain relative to the bill owed by the Olympic Hotel and stating that the owners were arranging for a loan, which when made would help to pay off the District's bill. The decision of the Public Utilities Commission on the application trade by the Sanders Water System to sell the system to the District was read wherein the Commission authorized the sale, Also letters of July 5 and $th from Paul H. Chamberlain relative to same. Also letters of July Est and 2nd between Jos, H. Sanders and the District wherein it was set forth that the District would not bill Sanders customers for the month of June, an orderly procedure should be adopted in extending the street lighting system in the Gateway area, and after some discussion the Directors instructed the Manager to inform Mr. Vind and others interested that extensions in the Gateway area would be made by blocks only. Further discussion relative to the street lights along Main St. and the advisability of having lights installed under the Assessment Act. The Manager stated that he would contact some of the o7emers along the Main St. and get their reaction to such a move. �OSThe Manager reported that he had spent the* of Wednesday July 10, with Mr. Siler of the State Highway Dept. going over the various relocations �' and movIlng of the District's utilities due to the freeway construction. The Manager, informed the Directors of a credit adjustment in the District' s power bill for February discovered by Mr. H. Straine in his audit and that the s&me had been adjusted by the Sierra Pacific Power Co in our June bill. The Manager requested permission to purchase a new Dodge Power Wagon for use on the water sus tem, due to the rundown condition of the present jeep that used for this purpose. After some discussion it was moved and carried that the Manager be authorized to call for bids for a Dodge Power Wagon or its equivalent.
