Truckee, California June 12, 1958 The .rnembers of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District met in regular meeting at the office of the District on. Main St., at 9:30 a m. Upon roll call the following Directors were noted present: Dan Horman- B R King, Jr. - Jack Neugebauer- Hal t3elch- George Kaspian (absent ) Also present: C Z a,ith and C 14 Doerr The minutes of the regular Y-.eeting of 11,11ay 29th were presented to each Director and upon motion made and carried were approved as transcribed. Chamberlain dated June 2 and 9th relative to the Gil ford account and the fl lin fees in connection with sale. A copy of letter fro�� the District to P I-11 Chamberlain was read relative to the Sierra Pacific Power Co serving the contractor for the new ,Elementary School with temporary electric service, and reulGr from F H Cha1berlai n of June 2, with cony of letter sent to Ta' oe Truckee Unified School District re and n same. Also copy of letter dated June 7th from., the District stati n�; service from Sierra Pacific Pw Co. had been discontinued to School ald copy of letter from P H Chamberlain, dated June 9th to Tahoe Truckee Unified School District was read. Forrest of the Bank of America are to be, in'vit dto appear before the Board at next -r.eeting, June 26th. letter from Central Branch, First k{�'estern Ban'- and Trust Co. of Oa'lkland dated June 6, 1958 was read asking for letter -relea.sLn7 bonds in the arlount of Q10,000. ( Concord City Sewer), Also copies of letters to Central Branch and Bank of A.ner .ea, Truckee releasin- sa:_ie were read. A letter from Fairbaras, Hlorse Co, under date of June 7, 1958 was read re- garding quotation on Turbine pum-o. Street lighting for the IIain Street and to the junction of 89 on Free-Tlray was discussed and the concensus of opinion was that the Miain Street should have lights soon. A motion was �.gade by Director King and seconded by Director Itieugebauer that street lights be installed from the east end of Co_ainercial Row to approach the other side of Gateway (Junction 89) within next 3 gears, and begin by putting 9 street lights in business district now, to be paid for out of funds obtained from sale of land, and to be repaid by retaining the present co.nmercial light rate, A .m6tion vra� made and carried that the Board adopt Resolution h-5807 by the following vote; a copy of which is attached hereto and made. a part of these mii-iates : Ages nor�amn-t in;- iNeugebauer--welch .
