St., at 9:30 a m. Straine & Sons and some discussion took place relative to same. Chairman. etch drew attention to the sum of money ow ;ng by the Water Dept to the Bleetri •Deft. and stated that it would be possible to write this amount off against the accumulated surplus ' in the Electric Department. After - some further discussion no action was taken. Chairman Welch announced that 2 app4esti?ns had been -received in answer to an ad in the Sierra` Sun for ` Off"iee Manager for the District ' and that a special called meeting for September 4th would be held and these applications taken up- at th4t tune, r-- t The Manager drew the attention of the Board to statements relative to new 'Proposed work for the District and particul Orly for the need for a -now, add ss-& - o aph ft6hlne Tor the office.
