D.Lztrict met in regular meeting A the office of the District on Main.
St., at 9:30 a m.
Upon roll call the ,following Directors were noted present:

Each Director was furnished a copy of the Annual Report submitted by Harry M.
Straine & Sons and some discussion took place relative to same. Chairman.

•Deft. and stated that it would be possible to write this amount off against the
accumulated surplus ' in the Electric Department. After - some further discussion
no action was taken.
Chairman Welch announced that 2 app4esti?ns had been -received in answer to an
ad in the Sierra` Sun for ` Off"iee Manager for the District ' and that a special
called meeting for September 4th would be held and these applications taken
up- at th4t tune,

The Manager drew the attention of the Board to statements relative to new
'Proposed work for the District and particul Orly for the need for a -now, add ss-&

Chairman Welch announced that , Attorney Chamberlain would be regiAested to attend
` tie next regular me•eting of the. Board on September, llth and the matter'of retaining

overtime work by monthly employees, and stating that he was endeavoring to get

Manager FAmunds stated that a second Compressor had been loaned under trial by the
Bacon Co. and that the price .of, the_ Same was $1600.
