S. Erskine, Professional Engineers, quoting a price, not t� exceed
$900.00 f -ir a survey of the District.
It was moved by Director Neugebauer and seconded by Director Kaspian
the firm of George S. Erskine, Professional Engineers, be obtained
to proceed study upon the notification of Utility- District.
Superintendent Doerr advised the board the City of Ukiah was selling
used Transformers at a cut price* The board advised him to purchase
what he needed.
The Board granted the office Manager and Superintendent the power to
purchase up to $1000*00 without consulting the Board.
Discussion was held on the 200 x 200 Reservation on the Jerry Lewis
property. The board advised another suitable site be picked.
Mrs. Betty Kielhofer entered the meeting and the Golf Course and
Recreational area was reviewed again. An article will be put in the
local paper advising the people of the new proposed Recreational area
and aking their comments on same,
No further business the meeting was ajourned.

The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility
District met in an ajourned meeting at the office of the District on
Main Street, at 9:30 AM.
Upon roll call the following Directors were noted present:
Dan Horman-H. M. Welch -Jack Neugebauer
Also present: Daven Morey
The minutes of the regular meeting of September 25, 1958 were pre-
sented to each Director and upon motion made and carried were approved
as presented.
A list of the following bills were presented to each Director.
It was moved by Director Neugebauer and seconded by Director Horman
the bills be paid.

Director Neugebauer advised the board the Ice pond was being prepared for
surfacing.
Manager Morey advised the Board an Inventory would be taken of the
Warehouse the lst. of November
The Board passed to keep Harry M. Straine and Sons for two more months
for monthly auditing and supervision of Office accounting.
The bill received from Bob Baldock for $475.00 was reviewed. It was
the Boards decision the traveling expense for $75.00 be omitted when
paid.
Manager Morey notified the Board the firm of George Erkskine had
started their survey of the District and would have a full report
for the Board at the November 13th meeting.
Discussion was held on the possibility of charging the Lumber Companies
a minimum fee Burring the winter months or a connection charge when
reconnected in the summer. It was the Boards feeling it be held over
until they received the report form Erkskine.
It was moved by Director Neugebauer and secoJed by Director-Horman
the Quitclaim Deeds #23052 and #23683, G. E. and Patricia M. Lewis
be signed and recorded.
The Ordinances appointing Patsy R. Tonini, Clerk of District, Evangeline
Hallett, Treasurer and Daven Morey Secretary of the Board of Directors
were read and passed upon on. The above Ordinances were duly posted 10-15-58.
It was moved by Director Neugebauer and seconded by Director Horman
a $25.00 a month increase in salary be given to Patsy Tonini and
Evangeline Hallett, effective October 1, 1958.
It was reported no bids had been received for the piece of land the
District had advertised. A request for an acre of land next to Kenyon
property was received from Hugh Weinand. It was the Boards decision
no more land be sold at the present time in that area. The Methodist
Church made a request for 5 acres of land next to Dump. It was de-
cided the land be surveyed and a road be put through the middle of the
.property before selling any acreage.
It was brought to the Boards attention the four acres of land Hedlund
had option on had never been acted upon.
Manager Morey brought to the Boards attention the need for a back Hoe.
It was left for further consideration.

General discussion was held on the proposed play area and Golf course
A letter was ordered written to Paul H. Chamberlain requesting in-
formation on tax to be levied.
Manager Morey advised the Board there was going to be a meeting held
October 15th at 2 PM in Nevada City to discuss County Building Site.
-Being no further business the meeting was a journed.
