King, Jr. -Acting Chairman Truckee, California September 22, 1959 The members of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District met in a special meeting at the office of the District on Main Street, at 8 : 00 PM . Upon roll call the following Directors were noted present: Edmunds, Kaspian, Russell Absent: Horman, King Also present: Daven Morey, Morris Wimberly, Louie Ramirez, E. J. Hintz Mike Popovich , Jack Ellis CTJI ar Correspondence was read under date of August 28, 1959, from Paul H . _„ Chamberlain in reference to People V . Moore, el al. TruckeePubl is Utility District, Nevada County No. 12136. He advised the board the State will undertake steps to the prompt dismissal of the District from this suit. Correspondence was read under date of September 9. 1959, from Paul H. Chamberlain advising the board he had been contacted by the Sanitary and Health Departments, advising him an existing road going through the new proposed ball park had been moved and was in bad condition. They asked the road be put in passable condition. It was so ordered . Progress report was given on Golf Course. Director Horman entered the meeting. Manager Morey gave a report on the meeting with Sierra Pacific Power He advised Sierra Pacific Power will not furnish 13,800 KV, unless service area agreement is signed. Discussion was held on condemnation of the Donner Lake Line, Ways and means of obtaining power through.. other sources. Director King entered the meeting Morris Wimberly appeared before the board, he advised he was interested the Foremans job, He was advised his application would be considered along with the rest the District had received. There being no further business the special meeting was aj ourned and the board went into a closed meeting to review applications for working Foreman of the District.
