A check will be made with the Bank and a report given at the next meeting . Chairman Kaspian advised he felt a full board should be present before the sale of any land could be made, He was advised this motion would not be binding, however, a gentlemens agreement could be enforced. Confirmation of same wit 1 be gotten in wr itt ing from Attorney. It was moved by Director Russell and second by Director Edmunds $7 , 500 . be transfered from the water fund to the electric fund. Director Edmunds apologized for his conduct of recent meetings and advised the board he had drawn up a Resolution to cover order of Business and Procedures, He urged the board to adopt this Resolution, he felt it would be an assistance to the chairman and board alike. It was . asked to be held over for the next meeting. A letter was read to the Board from George Kaspian, Chairman, advising of his resignation from the board of Directors of the Truckee Public Utility District. It was moved by Director Russell and second by Direc- tor Horman action be held over until next meeting. Director Edmunds was asked to act as chairman for the evening,.. Mr. Rupley appeared before the board. He asked the Directors to refer to his letter of November 6th . A report was asked on the cost of pump site, It was estimated it would cost $8, 500.00 for 50,000 gal tank capacity and$13 , 500.00 for 100,000 gal tank capacity. The plan was reviewed. It was suggested the water be brought in from the east side instead of the west. Fiqures will be obtained on cost of east and west installations, The District will then come up with a proposal. It was moved by Director Russell and second by Director Horman a thorough. investigation be made of all possibilities of service of water to Olympic Heights Subdivision and manager be authorized to sign title sheet as secretary of the Board, with terms and conditions to be agreed upon. So Carried* Mr. F irpo advised the board the Tahoe Forest Hospital was putting up a warehouse and asked the loan of the District's Back Hoe for one afternoon. It was moved by Director Russell and second by Director Horman the District donate the use of Back Hoe for afternoon, Hospital to pay for operator. So Carried. Manager Morey advised Mr, . Stewart of the Board of Health had gone over our water system and advised the following work be done. 1. Covering of the South Side Spring. 2, Concrete basin, McClashan Springs* He advised a monthly bateria test be taken and sent into Board of Health once a month, The board felt Mr. Walker should continue taking counts until such time he would be unable to. The report was accepted by the board and ordered filed-* Requirements and restrictions for sale of 68 acres of land were re- viewed, It was movec by Director Russell and second by Director Horman the conditions as outlined be accepted. Land to be re -advertised for sale with minimum bid of $51, 000.00 with suggested 10% deposit to accompany bid. The above motion was passed on by the following vote: Ayes: Edmunds, Noes: None Absent: Kaspian, Horman, Russell King Bids to be opened at regular meeting of November 24, 1959 Minutes November 10, 1959 Continued 21-51 It was moved by Director Russell and second by Director Horman the District advertise in Sacramento Bee, Sierra Sun and San Francisco Examiner. Run ads Saturday and Sunday November 14th and 15th . So Carried . Jack Ellis advised the board #4 & 5 hole at the golf course was very rocky and asked the boards permission to for funds to have top soil to fill 2500 yards at a cost of $1, 500.00/ It was moved by Director Russell and second by Director Horman they allow $1,500,00 for improvements. E . J . Hintz asked when street lights would be extended in his area. N. F , Dolley advised the board the Fire District was in need of a piece of land to construct a fire house on in the Gateway, Meadow Lake area. He asked if the District had any land avail- able, The District advised they had none available in that area. There being no further business the meeting was a j ourned . Edmunds, Harold Harden, Henry J. Redford, Preston Wright, Mr. Rupley, , Ed Holtz, I. F irpo . Minutes of the regular meeting of November 10, 1959 were presented to each Director and upon motion made and carried were approved as presented.
