Some discussion was held as to whether bids should be obtained for car
load of poles, Manager Morey advised the board prices had been obtained
and the lowest quote was ordered from.
Mr, Carlos McQu ire a surveyor from Nevada City appeared before the board
relative to the boards request for a water survey of the District. He
advised the board his firm could furnish a master plan to include future
developement on a 5 to 10 year plan. A priliminary visibility report could
be drawn up for around $5000.000
It was moved by Director Russell and second by Director Edmunds the
board authorize a maximum sum of $ 2500.00 for preliminary survey of
water systems.
The above motion was passed on by the following vote:
Ayes: Edmunds, Horman, King, Russell
Noes: None
Absent: Rose
Mr. McQuire will meet with the board at their next regular meeting.
It was brought to the boards attention that the engineer's services
came quite high and the District should advertise for a general Manager ---
with engineering ability who would be able to lay out water and electri-
cal 1 ines .
It was moved by Director Russell and second by Director Edmunds the
District advertise for a General Manager, with electrical experience.

The above motion was passed on by the following vote:
Ayes: Edmunds, Horman, King, Russell
Noes? None
Absent: Rose
The Board was advised the propped letters to Sierra Pacific Power
Company had been sent, with copies sent to Public Utility Commission.
It was asked a follow up letter be sent in two weeks if no answer had
