A letter from Chamberlain & Chamberlain to
Company, Auburn, Calif . , was read regarding
power from them to the District. No answer
received to date.

Chairman King gave a report on his meeting with the engineer from
the U. S . Bureau of Reclamation. The engineer estimated it would
cost the District approximately $15 0 , 000.00 to run a line to the
top of Donner Summit from our presentl ine .
It was brought to the Board's attention that severAl trailers
were hooked to the electrical systems of private homes.
It was moved by Director Russell and seconded by Director Kielhofer
that the owners of the private homes be advised to apply for
separate service and be advised they are violating Ordinance 5808.
A time limit of 10 to 15 days for some action on the above was
given. If no compliance is made, change of rate will go into
effect.
A letter from G . F . Drewrey was read asking to purchase a lot owned
by the District next to the home of Johnny Richards, Board decided
to withhold decision until a future time.
Dick Joseph's deed was presented to the Board for signature. Director
Edmunds moved the authorized officer of the District sign the deed
and the deed not be given Mr. Joseph until terms and conditions be
met by Dick Joseph that reservoir site south of freeway be enlarged
from 100 feet x 100 feet to 200 feet by 200 feet. Seconded by
Director Kiel:hofer .
Director Russell made a motion that our deposit be raised from the
present $10.00 to $20.00.Seconded by Director Kielhofer. Motion
carried.
The Board gave the off ice authority to send 5-day notices to all
accounts 2 months in arrears - all over 2 months, letters advising
legal action. If the bill is not paid in full they must appear before
the Board to explain the reason for not making full payment. The
Board authorized cut-off if not paid within designated time.
Discussion was held on St. Louis. Cafe bill. Due to the age of bill
it was felt a 3-day notice be given with cut-off Friday if
arrangements for payment had not been made.
