Motion carried. Considerable discussion was held on the note due the Bank of California, the first installment being due in January. It was moved by Directo5 Edmunds and seconded by Director Russell $4 , 000.00 of present electric and water funds be set aside and earmarked to meet payment on note in January. Motion carried. Manager informed Board that there was approximately 6 more weeks of maintenance on golf course and there was only $2.70 in the Recreation Fund. It was moved by Director Edmunds and seconded by Director Horman that additional $ 2 , 000.00 be transferred from the water fund to Recreation fund to pay expenses for remainder of season. Motion carried. Discussion was held on the golf course building. Mr. Osburn stated he was still willing to construct building on his original specification. It was moved by Director Edmunds and seconded by Director Kielhofer that an advertisement be put in local paper for bids to .build club house on land selected by Utility District, Motion carried. The above notice was to include the following specifications: At least 1600 quare feet, cost at least $15 , 000.00; Bids be submitted in writing by October 11, 1960; Ten year lease renewable at option of District; District to bold option to purchase building after 10 years at the appraised value. A letter was read to the Board from Miss Hallett, Treasurer, requesting a leave of absence for 6 weeks due to scheduled surgery on or about Norvember 1, 1960. It was moved by Director Horman and seconded by Director Russell Miss Hal lett' s application for a 6-week leave of absence effective November 1, 1960, be accepted. Motion carried. Mr. Apple stated to the Board that a broker had come into the bank inquiring about a piece of peoperty the District owns at the Tahoe - Truckee Y and asked the District to set a price they would consider so the gentlemen could be informed. Discussion was held on this matter It was moved by Director Edmunds and seconded by Directo5 Kielhofer the asking price to be $60, 000.00 with restrictions agreeable to the District, Motion carried. The next matter on the agenda was the Auditor's Report by Harry M . Straine & Sons, Public Acountants. Chairman King started reading report but due to the lateness of the time it was suggested a special meeting be set up on October 4, 1960, at which time Warren T it son Auditor was to be requested to be present. A sheet with changes to the acounts e` was submitted to the Board for their permission to make the changes . Budget recommendations for this fiscal year were submitted by the Manager. Each Director was given a typed copy for his reference* After a lengthy discussion this matter was set aside to be taken up at a later date.
