The -bill. from F . V Carnell in --the Recreation dept was questioned and.. Director McIver requested that the Manager contact Mc. Carnell and if possible request his attendance at the next regular. meeting to explain the bill A question arose about charging . the Shadow -Valley Country Club for the use of the Clubhouse ' and manager read. an excerpt from minutes of June l l , 1961 excluding -the Club from any charges, . Director McIver moved that all bilks except Sierra Pacific Power Co 8 r 293.53 and F.. V. Carnell 237.4O be paid, approved the payment of bills listed paid„ and..1unds be transfered from the Electric debt to dater & Recreation depts sufficent to cover the bills approved, seconded by Director Horman and carried. Fire District: Fire Commissioners Mr . E . Tonini & Mr. T . Dolley revieued with the Board the agreement presented. and after discussion it was agreed that the agreement be re -written and presented at the.next meeting. A suggestion was made by Fire Commissioner Dolley that the Fire District not be billed for additional -Fire Hydrants until the be- ginning of each f iscal year. Mr. Sherman B1 iss *& Mr . Jack Dutweiler had attended the meeting but due to a previous -.engagement had, to leave* Director Horman presented their request to the Board. They wanted to know if the District could supply water from Truckee to Section 3 `w►hich they are planning . on sub- dividing. The Manager reported - the cost -would be prohibitive. It was the Boards decision that as they are in the boundaries of the District they could appear be f ore the Board and be granted permission to form their own Mutual Water Co. or they could install a water systems and after com- pleted turn , it over to the District. Manager was instructed to survey the property owned by Reg Smart for future water service. r. Co S. Beavers: An easement map prepared by Mr Grim for Mr._ Beavers was presented to the Board by the manager . The Board requested. thjLt 3 Mr. Beavers be notified that a time limit be . put on the snap apd a rough draft of a memorandum agreement specif ing terms and conditions be sub - \mitted at the next meeting . Mr. Luis Ramirez and Mr. Dave Vieu appeared before the Board with their grievance. They felt the Manager was being discriminatory,- by hiring outside help instead of locals.
