Edmunds,Paul VanVliet The minutes of June 25, 1963 were read and approved. The following statements of bank balances, bills paid and due were presented to the board for approval. It was so carried. Manaqers Report: Manager readletter from Martin McDonough, dated July 6, 1963. Mr. McDonough requested further information be sent to Mr. Joseph Sachs in connection with R.E.A. loan. Manager reported Warren Tilson did not plan to start the final audit until July 22, 1963. Manager stated ' he would contact Warren and request he start audit a week or so earligr in order to send Mr. Sachs the requested information. Minutes July 9, 1963 continued read Letter from Harold Johnson, dated June 24, 1963 was/to the Board. Mr. Johnson stated he had contacted the Bureau of Reclamation and the Secretary of the Interior and it was their judgment that further negotiations between the Buraau and PG&E were useless. Manager raad letter from Gerald F. Diddle, Director dated June 24,1963 assuring District the loan was being processed expeditiously. Regarding the Disaster (Federal Aid) manager advised board a summary of documentation hail been sent to the California Disaster Office on July 5, 1963. The total amount of claim was $ 2, 907 .29 . Regarding the Insurance Study, manager advised Board Carveth Insurance Agency had all the necessary information for the survey. Manager also advised he had received a cover note from Carveth to cover a policy which would expire next month. Manager stated he would advise the Tahoe Truckee Agency of this cover note so they would not renew the policy themselves. Unf inished Business Service -to Pfeifer - No report Fred O.-Morkis - No report r - t At this -timd manager advised Board he had talked to Harold Berliner in regards to going before the governor, Mrs Berliner felt the Board should not go before the governors It was the Board feelings they should go before the governor before the PUC hearing or not at all. Manager advised he had contacted , Mr . Vick of Nevada Aerial Surveys Inc. and requested Mr, Vick to appear before the Board. Manager Longo stated he was still working on the tanks , but the Navy still had not declared them surplus. Manager advised board he had enough 8' pipe to start work in the back alley and would like to start as soon -as the Spring was finished. Manager reported the grass was turning yellow at the Golf Course, A discussion ensued and manager advised he,would look into the matter furthers There being no further business to be brought before the Board the meeting was adjourned at 8 :15 P.M* _e, a�vos_etk E.
