It was moved by Director Firpo and seconded by Director Rose
the water bills paid and the bills for boards approval be paid
as listed. So carried.
Ray Mac Mill: Manager requested authorization to purchase wire
to re -construct line to Ray Mac Mill. After due consideration
manager was given authorization to purchase the needed wire.

Manager reported 700 feet of pipe had been layed to Olympic Heights
and should be completed by Friday night*

Manger reported there should be no delay in the alley.
Manager reported So. Side pump was giveing trouble and an expert
from Fairbanks Morris would be up to check it.

Gateway Area:
Manager felt something should be done with McGlashons Springs or the
Lewis Well. Manager reported if w6^ should lose the pump at Donner
Creek we could be in a bind. Manager advised he _had taken two .
people to look over McGlashons Spring, Mr. Prucka thought_ it would
cost $80000.00/$101000.00. Karl Kuttel figured around $8,000.00.
Manager requested the Board give this matter consideration. Chair-
_"" man Aweeka suggested the board make a trip to McGlashons springs
to look -it over. The directors agreed to make the trip, Thursday
at 9:00 A.M.
ELECTRIC:
Sub -Station: Manager reported the steel has been shipped from
Texas by rail and should be here by the end of the week.
Ordinance 64- 03- Pertaining to Security Lights.
Moved by Director Doyle and seconded by Director Firpo, Ordinance
64- 03 be adopted .
Passed and adopted by the following roll call vote:
Ayes: Aweeka, Firpo, Doyle, Rose
Noes: None

Adoption of Rule providing for Extension of power lines pxplained4
by manager„ Manager advised this rule has been adopted by Plumas
Sierra, If agreaable with the Board manager stated he would
present it to Attorney Wetherall and have him draw up the
resolution,
Manager brought up the salary of Lawrence Best, electric and water
foreman. Manager reported Best had been putting in extra hours
and asked the Board how they felt about increasing his salary by
the hour or putting him on a flat salary, The Board asked Mr . Be s t
how he felt. Best stated he hadn't asked for this, but the work
was increasing more and more. Director Firpo felt Best should keep
trac of all his overtime and his rate of pay remain as is.
George Cattan`s Contract:
Mr. Cattan requested the board re -new his contract for the winter
months reducing his salary to $ 55 0.00 per month for a six hour
day,
Voltage drop problems discussed. George Cattan explained reason
why problem was more serious now than it would be after convers ion .
Manager stated he would obtain capacitors which would over come a
great portion of the losses at an early date.
Letter from Mrs* Cecil Edmunds, dated September 28, 1964 read
by manager. Mrs. Edmunds requested the District remove all materil
accumulated on her lot next to the District warehouse. Manager
st&ted he would take care of this matter.
Director Doyle asked manager if he had any other works from Kaspain.
Manager advised, no. Director Doyle reported he had done some re4-
search on Mr. View and felt he was accident prone. Director Firpo
