Motion carried. WAGE SCALE RESOLUTION #6508, which supersedes Resolution #6406 and Resolution 6307, was presented for the Board's approval . This resolution records wage scale changes agreed upon at the Executive Meeting of the Board on April 6th, 1965, salary scale for the Billing Clerk* and an equal opportunity clause (regardless of -racer color, creed- or national origin) . It" was moved by Director Fink, 4econded by Director Rose, that -Resolution 6568 be adopted. ,Passed and adopted by the following roll call vote: Ayes: Aweeka, Rose, Fink, Doyle Noes: None r Absent: F irpo ELECT=ON RESOLUTION #6509 was presented, declaring that no general 1 election wig l be held in _ Truckee District on may 4th, 1965, and providing for the appointment of nominees by the Nevada County . Board of Supervisors at their next regular meeting* It `was moved by Director Rose, seconded by'Director Doyle, that Resolution #6509 be adopted. Passed and adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Aweeka, Rase, Fink, Doyle NOES: None ABSENT: Firpo Minutes April 20, 1965 Continued EXTENSION RULE --RESOLUTION #6510 was presented. This resolution, prepared for the District by Attorney Chamberlain, is based on the extension agreement now - in use by the Piumas Sierra Utility District. It gives the Distract a written basis on which to prepare costs to the public of extending electric services past our present terminus. It was read and explained by the Manager, and following debate -on the rate and distances as quoted, it was moved by Director Fink ai,d seconded by Director Rose that the Resolution be adopted. Passed "and adapted by the following- roll call vote: AYES:' Aweeka# Rose, Fink, Doyle NOES:' None ABSENT: F irpo ORDINANCE 65-01, appointing Mrs. Allene Bouillez as treasu er.._aid establishing bond and compensation for her as treasurer and Billing Clerk, was presented. It was -moved by Director Doyle and seconded by Director Rose that Ordinance 65-01 be adopted.. Passed and adopted by the following roll � call votes r AYES: Aweeka, Xose, Fink, Doyle NOES: None n TM ABSENT: Firpo A TELEPHONE SERVICE TO THE SUBSTATION was requested by the Manager. Need, J s-afety features, and -cost -of such phone installation were discusssed.' Since the -Board felt that-- the - rates quoted by the phone company were high, the Manager was directed to obtain the most reasonable service compatible with our needs, and proceed with the installation before the Substation opens in May. REQUEST BY MR. GEORGE MOREY'FOR GRAZING RIGHTS AND HORSE PASTURE on partially fenced empty acreage on the north side- of the Brockway Shortcut west of the Golf Course was considered. Current rates for horse pasture in the area were discussed and a pasture rental of $10.00 per horse was agreed upon. Also,- the following restrictions are to be -included in any lease for pasture purposes: No buildings are to be erected without permission of - the Board; property is to be adequately fenced with three strands of wire, top strand to be barbed; liability insurance is to be provided by lessee for the protection `of the District; rights of ingress and Degrees are to be -be assured to the District; all fencing is to revert to the ownership of the District When lease is -cancelled; and District 'reserves the right - to a 30-day cancellation of the lease after a period of six months. Manager is -to - -inform Mr . Morey regarding the Board's -decision, and -see if he wishes to go ahead with the lease. CORRESPONDENCE: (1. ) A letter from Mr. Ray Stevens of the UtiliV Body Company was read, in which he requested that the Board reimburse him for an installation charge not quoted in his company's bid on our new truck and ladder last February. The Board, with regret for the oversight and loss, decided that the cost must stand as quoted at the off is iai bid opening. (2.) A' lettek was --read from Mrs,* Ruth Farrar Mitchell, former Truckee resident, regarding a contraversial overdue balance for electric and water service, and a reportedly-unreturned deposit posted by her with the District -in 1943. - Since the records of the District do not show an unreturned deposit due Mrs. Mitchell, nor any deposits still unreturned prior to 1955 ; and since the Board 1 RUOLUTION NO, 6 510 2 OF 3 TRUCKER PIJELIC UTILITY DISTRICT 4 AMENDING RULES AND RNGULATIONS, G ING . EA , the Board of Directors of Truckee Pdblic Utility 7 District heretofore duly adopted and approved a set of Rules and 8 Regulations applicable to electric service, said Rules being 9 adopted March 27th, 1962, and becoming effective Judy 1, 1962, and 10 REAS 9 the Board of Directors of said District desire and 11 intend to modify said Rules and Regulations in certain respects, 12 and to enact and incorporate therein provision and policy on line 13 extension 14 NOW ORE, BE IT RESOUND EEC THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 15 TRUCKEE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS 16 1. That thy. Rules and Regulations of the Board of Directors 17 of T`s:uckee Public Utility District applicable to electric service, 18 being adopted March 27th, 1962, and effective July 1, 1962, shall 19 be and the same are hereby amended in the following respects 20. (1) That forever Rule XV designated "Noti.ces#' shall be 21 and the same is hereby renumbered as `Rule XVI ;" I 22 (2) That former Rule x designated #Intexxuptions in 23 ' Service" shall be and the same is hereby renumbered and designated 24 as "Rule XVI I 25 2. That in order to establish a line extension policy, , and 26 to provide for electrical service line extensions, there is hereby 27 added to the Rules and Regulations applicable to electrical service 28 of ,said District a new rule to be designated as "Rule V," said 29 rule to be in the farm and content shown by a copy thereof attached 30 hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated 31 herein as if set forth in full. 32 3.
