3. Mr. Harold Leary, R.E.A. Field Engineer, will be in
Truckee about December 21st., Work Orders j ustifj:ing approximately
$ 25 , 000.00 in R.E.A. Loan funds are completed by Engineer Cattan,
awaiting approval and signature before submitting to R.E.A.
4. Directors requested enlightenment on "loss of power"
r-- being suffered by many home owners in area. Discussion revealed
that it is a joint problem of Sierra Pacific and our own District,
resulting from voltage drop at this time. Conversion should help
maintain a more constant flow of power to our customers as it
progresses.
BURNING AT MCGLASHIN SPRINGS - Weather now will permit Karl Kuttel
to go ahead with the burning of slash at McGlashin Springs if the
Board approves. It should take about four days and cost is esti-
mated at $200.00. Board granted approval at this estimate, but
requested that two men be on duty at fire at all times when burning,
ODOR PROBLEM AT MC GLASHIN SPRINGS - McGlashin Spings water has
developed a very unpleasant odor - may be the result of sweating
of the redwood covers over the collection boxes. Water drew is to
vent spring covers as soon as possible with a 2" pipe, but may
have to replace the redwood entirely,
ADJOURNMENT * Director Doyle moved and Director Fink seconded that
the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried; adjournment at 9:15 P.M.
