Land previously set aside for use of District. Directors not interested in selling any property at this time;- directed Manager to so- inform Mr . Bonner. 122 Minutes April 5, 1966 Continued App ointment of New Director: Since the proposed replacement for Director Fink (resigned) was not present - no action was taken on filling the vacancy. Ordinance 66-01: Appointing. Marilyn Midyett as Treasurer (and Billing k setting salary range for the position, and authorizing bonding, Clerk)* ga 'rector Rose, seconded by Director Firpo, was presented• Motion by Da. .�.., that Ordinance '66-01 be adapted, passed by the following roll call .. vote: AYES: Jweeka, Firpo, Rose NOES: None ABSENT: Doyle Write - ' off List on Uncollectible Accounts, prepared by Billing Clerk O and Auditing Firm, was presented for Board's approval.. Mot i.�n car'"' pA and Director Firpo seconded; motion Adjournment at 9:05 P.M. -Kec5YUingSecmtary ORDINANCE NO.. 6 6- 01 of TRUCKEE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT APPOINTING TREASURER, AND ESTABLISHING BOND WHEREAS.. Section 16111 and following of the Public Utilities Code of the State of California provides, among other things, for the appointment of officers of a utility district other than Directors, including therein the office of Treasurer, and for the establishment of the amount of bond of such office, and WHEREAS, the former treasurer of said District has tendered her resignation, and the Board of Directors of the District now desires to appoint a successor treasurer; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TRUCKEE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS 1. That the resignation of Allene Bouillez former treasurer of Truckee Public Utility District, shall be and I the same is hereby accepted, said resignation being deemed effect- ive as of the 31st day of March , 1966; 2. That as successor to said office, MARILYN MIDYETT of Truckee, California, shall be and she is hereby appointed as treas- urer of Truckee Public Utility District, said appointment being deemed effective as of the 5th day of April , 1966; That as compensation for work in reference to the office of treasurer on behalf of said District, the said Treasurer MARILYN MIDYETT shall be compensated at the rate of $ 350.00Z450.0O payable monthly at a rate prescribed by he Board ; 3. That as said treasurer appointed hereby, she shall per- form such duties and have such authority as is provided by the Public Utilities Code of the StAte� of California, applicable to -1- utilities districts in unicorporated territory, and such other and further duties as may be imposed upon or granted to her from time to time by the Board of Directors of said District; That the Treasurer shall have charge of the receipt of funds of the District, which funds shall be deposited daily into the treasury of the District, and said Treasurer shall post a bond with said District in the amount of $35, 000.00, and a certified copy of this Ordinance shall be served upon and retained by said Treasurer. 4. That said Treasurer hereby appointed shall hold office at the pleasure of the Board of Directors of said District; 5, Said Treasurer will perform also the duties of B ILL ING CLERK, 6, That copies of this Ordinance shall be published in the Sierra Sun for the time and in the manner required by 1 aw . The foregoing Ordinance was duly passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of Truckee Public Utility District at a regular _ _meeting thereof duly called and held in said District on the 5th day of April, 1966, by the following vote: AYES: AWEEKA, FIRPO, ROSE NOES: NONE ABSENT: DOYLE- Inc -- President of the Board of Directors Truckee Public Utility District ATTEST: Clerk thereof . CERTIFICATION I, Francis Longo , Clerk of the Board of Directors of Truckee Public Utility District, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 66-01 , to which this Certificate is attached is a true and correct copy of said Ordinance duly passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of said District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held in said District on the 5th day of April, 1966, by the vote of the Directors as therein set forth; AND I DO FURTHER CERTIFY that the said Ordinance has not been amended or rescinded, and is now a part of the Official Records of the Board of Directors of said District.
