M. 11 Upon roll call the following Directors wti_-re, noted present : Doyle,, Moore, Rose, Firpo, 4ilters employees present : Longo,, Cattan, Osburn Gusts: Jay Seefeld Minutes of the regular meetilig of Y.arch 4 , 1969 were approved as written. J.LY S"EEFELD, FIELD R1_'PRESENTATIVE,, RURAL ELECTRIFICATION ADMIN ISTI-CL-T ION Mr . Jay Seefeld stated i-le is very much impressec.31 with the operations the District . He fee's we have a real good potential for growth and financial stability in the area. One thing he would critize Cand will report to Washington on is the in-adequate office facilities . His recommendations for the loan will be very favorable for the new building. He discussed further in detail facts on gee;tin. the loan. He explained further in detail -his opinions on the REA locan. Discussion ensued . Jim Hensley is doing the pluim.6i.-'ag . The insulcait ion is in the walls., and the wiring is all complete . The material for the walls has not been ordere(5 as yet nor has the material for the fli ours . The only outside labor we have engaged was the mason for the safe . The employees have done all the other work. Chairman stated the men have done a terrific jo'_'o on the building . Mr. Cat tBan presented t'i-ie tile for the floors to the Board . There will be carpeting in the Board room and indoor-o,-,L td-oor carpeting for the entrance of the building. Discussion ensued . Discussion continued- III the matter with the Sprinkler system, a man came up to talk witi.-I George last week and they went over it and ile came up with CL price Of �4, 1-00-00- Manager felt this was too high . Another man from California. Sprinkler is looking at it now. Discussion ensued- Electric We had a few outages over, the weekend due t-o the snay. !-,,Is to the whole operation there is no problem. Manager stated he is unhappy with the power rate. He feels it wro,,-Ig z for us to pay as f or power which is wheeled to us at distanceL of 10 miles as someone suchias., W-innemucca " o has power whe(_pled 110 miles .
