Two men were present at the meeting representing Glensh ire Project . Mr. John
Lichliter of General American Developers and Mr. Joel Shousc of Murray
McCormick. Manager displayed map of the total Glensh ire plan. Manager stated
that his comments were that it would be extremely difficult for the Utility
District to take over a water system and operate it where the source lies in
one area and the service area within the District . This is the District 's
obligations far as electric service is concerned we are bound by contract
with Sierra Pacific Power Company to serve only area lying within Utility
District .
There were two proposals made which manager feels the Board should consider.
One is the contract and two is the annexation. At this time Mr, Lichliter
acquainted the Board with some details on this project . He feels the
community will benefit a great deal by this project .

Masonic Temple. Manager agreed with Mr. Shane to excavate it without billing
them for excavation to determin where the leak was, It was in the service

in keeping up with the demand.
GAGERS REPORT
It has been proposed in the realm of our consumer deposits that we amend our
rate schelule and Rules and Regulations to make it a matter of discretion
in the application of collection of the consumer deposit of all our customers
we get . Manager's opinion is that they cost us more at the pi es_,n.t time -hen
they actually need to. Tom Paulus explained what we would like to do. We
want to change Rule 5 by dropping the $25 .00 deposit and charge a $5 .00
connection fee which will not be refunded. We will although continue to
charge a deposit to commercial consumers. The Auditors have agreed to this .
Discussion ensued- Board agreed to try this method.
Manager stated he would like to have the BBQ on Friday the 15th. Board agreed
the 16th would be better. Discussion ensued-
Manager reported on assembly bill 1618 . By Resolution that bill ., which
placed a 14/ tax on all publicly owned electric Utilities has been put into
study and:will come back within 30 days after the adjournment of the next
regular session of the Legislature for recommendation. Discussion ensued-
We have wires up in Donner Lake, we are going ahead with the cut over. The
underground is ready to go in at the Truckee Donner Regional Park.
