RESOLUTION NO. 6933 OF THi ,' BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT r NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District , that when an applicant or his representative submits maps for a subdivision,, or an extension of an existing one, he will be subject to a fee for reviewing maps . Upon receipt of the maps, the District will submit such maps to its Consulting Engineers for a cost estimate for reviewing the maps and if the District finds the estimated sum is reason- able it will then inform the applicant or his representative to pay the fee. To this fee will be added a 20% overhead to cover the District expenses involving the review of the maps and locating the power line easements . Resolution No. 6701 of this District February 1, 1967 is hereby amended by changing: RULE V PARAGRAPH E. SERVICE CHARGES TO READ: 3 wire single phase,service permanent, 200 feet or less $ 35.00 3 wire single phase,service temporary, 200 feet or less $ 35.00 4 wire three phase service, 200 feet or less . . . . . . . . . . $ 50.00 Any needed extensions. of the District's service wires for more than 200 feet will be billed on basis of actual cost of material, labor and overhead involved in such extension. RbYLE XV Line Extensions Paragraph 3. Distribution Line Extensions, single phase to read: a) The District will extend its single phase distribution lines up to a distance of 200 feet per applicant at no cost,;to , the applicant if applicant will guarantee to pay a minimum monthly charge of five dollars (5.00) for a period of sixty (60) consecutive months. The total length of free footage for an extension will be determined by the number of applicants to be served by the extension at the rate of 200 feet per applicant, (see section (b) (1) . b) In those cases when an extension of more than 200 feet per applicant is necessary in order to extend service to the applicant (s) the guaranteed monthly minimum for a period of five years will be increased at the rate of one and a half cents ($.015) per foot of line required in excess of 200 feet per applicant. 1) In the event that two or more applicants desire service requiring an extension in excess of the free footage allowed under section 3 (a) each applicant's minimum in addition to $ 5.00 per month will be increased in proportion to the line required to, service each applicant unless some other division of the increased minimum is mutually agreeable to the applicants c) In no event will this policy be so interpreted so as to increase-inn applicant's minimum charge by plans to include an additional applicant. d) When it is necessary for a customer to guarantee a monthly piRimu , charge in excess of $ 5.00 per month he will be entitled to use an amount of energy for which his minimum would pay 'a under the applicable rate schedule. Should he use more than this amount of energy any month he will be billed in accordance with the regular rate schedule, which may be applicable but in no event will this effect the minimum charge for any subsequent month. e) The Board of Directors will, where the extension involved exceeds 200 feet, require the applicant to deposit with the District an amofint equal to twenty four (24) minimum payments. Such deposits will be applied to the last two years of the required five years guarantee under Section 3 (b) . If, at any time during the five year period it is necessary for the District to discontinue service for any reason such as non-payment of bills, premises vacated, etc. , the entire amount of the deposit still held by the District will be forfeited to the District. In the event that a customer who has such a deposit with the District sells his property to another, ' it will be the responsibility of the seller to make proper financial arrangements=� Tith the buyer concerning any deposit still held by the District and it will be the sellers responsibility to furnish the District with legal evidence showing any change of ownership of the deposit. Lack of such legal evidence even though the District may be aware of the property transfer will not preclude forfeiture of the deposit as provided above. RULE XII: Discontinuance and Restoration of Service, Para'graph 6 to read: 'S. DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE: District may discontinue or refuse service if customer does not comply with District's rules and regulations, or for non- payment of bills. If, in District's judgement, operation of customer's equipment constitutes a dangerous condition, District may discontinue service without notice. RESTORATION OF SERVICE: Whether at customer's request or due to non-payment of bills, or non compliance with District rules, the Utility may charge not more than $ 7.50 for reconnection of service during regular working hours, or not more than $ 12.50 t •= during a period other than regular hours, RULE V: Paragraph (C) to read: C) UNPAID ACCOUNTS: Deposits prescribe herein may be applied to unpaid bills for District Service when such service has been discontinued. Paragraph (c) . UNPAID ACCOUNTS Deposits precr ibed herein may be applied to unpaid bills for District service when such service has been discontinued. The District may require a customer to re-deposit a specified amount before rendering water service again, and to pay a reconnection charge of no more than $7 .50 for reconnection during regular working hours, or not more than $12 .50 during a period other than regular hours . RULE' 7 . pWAW- Paragraph (d) . CUSTOMER'S REQUEST FOR SERVICE DISCONTINUANCE A customer may have his water service discontinued by notifying the District at least 48 hours in advance of the desired date of discontinuance. He will be required to pay all water charges until the date of such discontinuance, The Utility may charge not more than $7 .50 for reconnection of service during working hours and not more than $12.50 during a period other than regular hours . When meter box is covered with snow discontinuance or re- connection of eater service will be billed to customer at actual cost .
