PROSSER LAKE VIEW ESTATES
WATER SUPPLY AND STORAGE
Unit 1 Completed 106 lots, lot 78 deeded to District
Unit 2 Completed 116 lots
Unit 3 Completed 114 lots
336
Unit 4 Tentative approved 96
Unit 5 in Tentative Stage 400
496
Total lots 336 + 496 832
There has been so much controversy in the past that Manager proposed
that storage be based on 496 lots, (Unit 4-96 lots, Unit 5-400 lots) using
the same figure adopted for Lakeworld Development of 466.66 gallons per lot.
496 x 466.66 = 231,463 say 200,000 gallons. This tank is to be installed
by 1st of September 1971. As this tank is interconnected to Prosser
Heights tank and in the future by tank to be installed by Trimont and
Caravan Estate, fireflow will be thus assured to the total lots of 832.
If the hoard accepts Zeph Rose' s letter, then the charge for source
would be: 116 + 114 + 96 = 326 - 300 = 26 @50.00 = $20,000.00
Total Source charge would be: Unit 4 - 96 lots $ 1,300.00
Unit 5 -400 lots $202000.00
$212300.00
Method of payment would be according to Para (1) of Resolution No. 7006
j as specified by the Board, when agreement is being drawn between District
I
and Developer for final improvement plans.
Mr. Longo told present manager three or four months before he left
that he had accepted Mr. Rose' s letter. Discussion ensued.
Jack Holgate suggested at the last special meeting a 50,000 gallon
tank. Manager does not recommend this. He recommends the 200,000 tank.
The subdivider is now agreeable to this.
Page 63
Discussion ensued on Mr. Rose' s letter. Director Moore stated he
does not see what bearing letter has on this. Director Stone agrees.
Manager does not feel letter is necessary and recommends the Board accept
his recommendation.
Director Stone made motion we bury the letter and accept Manager' s
I
recommendation. Chairman stated we should not make motion on this because
it' s up to the manager to advise subdivider what requirements are and any
further action to be taken would be in form of an agreement. Director
Stone withdrew his motion and suggests we endorse the Managers proposal
and direct him to go ahead and draw it up. Brief discussion ensued-
No further action will be taken at this time .
