Manager has received one bid only which was unsigned from C & M Drilling,
Manchester. He sent six bids. Reno Pump and Supply came today and
Manager took him to the site and he was suppose to bring his bid in
tonight. He hasn' t arrived as of yet,
Manager called Paul Chamberlain explaining the situation. It is possible
we can accept this bid. Mr. Chamberlain will check on legality of it.
Manager told him we must have wells drilled. We can not wait another
3 months.
The prices on the bids are good except that the pipe will be 8 gauge
which is .17 inch and Manager told him we want flinch. He didn' t send
us a bid bond. He stated. if we accept this bid then he will send a
bond. His prices for bids: Donner Creek $5,899. 76
Prosser Heights 8,569. 76
Discussion ensued- Manager stated since we have no other bid Mr.
Chamberlain thinks it is legal to accept this one. Manager will consult
with him further.
At "his t-i e called Reno Pump and Supply. He asked Board if
they want to see his bid. Discussion ensued on extending call for bids.
It is possible we may have to advertise again. Board suggests he send
bid.
Discussion ensued on Herzog Property and Bypass line to Lakeworld
Development,
There being no further business to be brought before the Board, it was
moved by Director Rose and seconded by Director Moore the meeting be
adjourned. Adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
