The special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Truckee-Donner
Public Utility District was called to order by the president at
7 : 30 p.m. in the conference room of the district .
ROLL CALL: D. Anderson, present; J. Craig, present; P. Sutton,
present ; R. Anderson, present; R. Waters , present.
EMPLOYEES PRESENT: Paulus, Kinzie
INTERVIEWING OF ATTORNEYS
The Board of Directors met and interviewed John Rogers at 7 : 30 ,
Robert Fugazi at 7 : 50, George Pifer at 8 : 10, Stevens & Wood at
8 : 30, and Joynt and Holley at 8: 50.
P.U. C. EXAMINERS
We have received proposals from Brown and Caldwell and Wilsey and
Ham on the examination of the district as outlined in the Public
Utilities Code. After lengthly discussion, it was moved by Director
D. Anderson that the board retain Harold H. Heidrick of Wilsey &
Ham to perform an examination and investigation of the district,
of which the guidelines are set out in the Public Utilities Code ,
and the preparation of a report to be submitted to the Board of
Directors. The maximum cost of this report to be $2 ,500 . The
motion was seconded by Director J. Craig.
ROLL CALL: J. Craig; aye ; D. Anderson, aye ; P. Sutton, abstain;
R. Anderson, aye ; R. Waters , aye. SO MOVED.
There being no further business to come before the board, the
secretary was excused while the directors and manager remained
for an executive session. Following the executive session, the
special meeting was reconvened to announce that a decision had
not been made regarding the selection of the attorney, and that
another executive session will be held following the regular
meeting of February 5 , 1974. The meeting was declared adjourned
by the president, Roy Waters , at approximately 11 : 15 p.m.
