ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FORM
Tom Paulus presented the directors with the environemtnal assessment
form on the North side well, tank and augmented facilities . After
reviewing the contents , Director Stone brought to the attention of
the board two misspelled words on the first page of the form. These
words will be corrected in the final form. Also, on page 3, Section
A, Number 1, Mr. Stone thought the answer to the question should be
"no". The board memebers did not think water would be considered
a natural resource removed for commercial purposes . Under Section
Q, Number 7 , subsection g, the directors wanted the question answered
"Yes" rather than "no" . The other permit that may be required will
be an encroachment permit from the Nevada County Department of
Public Works. Under Section Q, Number 7 , subsection d, in the explan-
ation of "yes" answers , , there was a typigraphical error. The
paragraph should end with "Department of Public Health" rather than
"Department of Public Works" .
It was moved by Director D. Anderson and seconded by Director R.
Anderson that we accept the environmental assessment form with
restrictions placed on the additions and corrections previously
discussed and proceed with public hearings at the next regularly
scheduled meeting. All aye ; motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the board, it was moved
by Director D. Anderson and seconded by Director R. Anderson that the
meeting be adjourned. All aye ; motion carried.
