HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-10-09 Min - Board OCTOBER 10, 1973 The special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Truckee-Donner Public Utility District was called to order by President Roy Waters at 5 : 00 p.m. in the conference room. ROLL CALL: H. Loehr, absent; D. Anderson, present; N. Stone, present; R. Anderson, present ; R. Waters , present . GUESTS PRESENT: Fosten Wilson, Jr. , Fred Damavandi EMPLOYEES PRESENT: Paulus, Kinzie . ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FORM Tom Paulus presented the directors with the environemtnal assessment form on the North side well, tank and augmented facilities . After reviewing the contents , Director Stone brought to the attention of the board two misspelled words on the first page of the form. These words will be corrected in the final form. Also, on page 3, Section A, Number 1, Mr. Stone thought the answer to the question should be "no". The board memebers did not think water would be considered a natural resource removed for commercial purposes . Under Section Q, Number 7 , subsection g, the directors wanted the question answered "Yes" rather than "no" . The other permit that may be required will be an encroachment permit from the Nevada County Department of Public Works. Under Section Q, Number 7 , subsection d, in the explan- ation of "yes" answers , , there was a typigraphical error. The paragraph should end with "Department of Public Health" rather than "Department of Public Works" . It was moved by Director D. Anderson and seconded by Director R. Anderson that we accept the environmental assessment form with restrictions placed on the additions and corrections previously discussed and proceed with public hearings at the next regularly scheduled meeting. All aye ; motion carried. There being no further business to come before the board, it was moved by Director D. Anderson and seconded by Director R. Anderson that the meeting be adjourned.
