The Special Meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order by
the Chairman at 4:35 P.M.
ROLL CALL: Waters , present; Sutton, present; Craig, absent; Christensen,
present; Anderson, present;

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF COUNTY OF NEVADA TO BILL
AND COLLECT STANDBY CHARGES
Following discussion Director Christensen moved that Resolution 7615,
"Continuing Electric and Water Standby Charges on the District Tax Roll
for Collection by the County of Nevada" be adopted. Seconded by Director
Waters.

REVIEW OF THE APPLICATION OF HILLTOP LODGE TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
COUNTY OF NEVADA FOR USE PERMIT, PUBLIC HEARING ON SEPTEMBER 2, 1976
Following discussion it was agreed that the Manager would correspond
with the Nevada County Planning Commission in response to the hearing notice
dated August 13, 1976, regarding the EIS questionnaire and site plan sub-
mi tted with the use permit application of Frederick Kohler for the operation
and maintenance of a ski lodge and other facilities at Hilltop Lodge in
Truckee.
Director Christensen moved that the Manager be instructed to send a
letter to the Planning Commission as previously read with regards to Hilltop
Lodge's .application and EIS Rating Form. Seconded by Director Waters. ALL
AYE BY VOICE VOTE. Director Craig, absent; SO OREDERED.
A copy of Mr. Cash's letter dated August 24, 1976, to the Planning
Commission is attached to the minutes of this meeting.
Director Waters moved that the meeting adjourn. Seconded by Director
Christensen. ALL AYE BY VOICE VOTE. SO ORDERED.
The Chairman adjourned the meeting at 5:25 P.M.

RESOLUTION NO. 76 15
OF
TRUCKEE-DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
CONTINUING ELECTRIC AND WATER STANDBY CHARGES ON THE
DISTRICT TAX ROLL FOR COLLECTION BY THE COUNTY OF NEVADA
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of TRUCKEE-DONNER
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT did, on February 18 , 1975, duly adopt
Ordinance No. 7501 fixing electric and water standby charges on
lands within the District boundaries, and providing a means for
collection thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of TRUCKEE-DONNER
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT did, on July 29 , 1975, duly adopt Resolu-
tion No. 7512 fixing and placing electric and water standby
charges on the District tax roll for collection by the County of
Nevada; and
WHEREAS, said District has now determined the
lands affected thereby for the current fiscal year and the charges
to be assessed, levied and collected on the lands and parcels ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Nevada, State of California, levy
the standby charges against the parcels and owners of record
listed on the attached exhibit, called Exhibit "A" hereto, and
made a part hereof, and that the County Auditor and Tax Collector
be instructed to levy and collect said charges in the same manner
as County taxes as by law and in said ordinance provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this
District be directed to forward certified copies of this resolution
to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Nevada and the
County Auditor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE Board of Directors of
TRUCKEE-DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT at a meeting of the Board
of Directors held within the District on August 1976 , by
the following roll call vote:

Gentlemen:
The Board of Directors of the Truckee-Donner Public Utility
District has reviewed the Environmental Rating Form regarding subject
development. We have no objections to the extent of improvements
to existing facilities as shown on the attached site plan.
Any expansion beyond improvements to existing facilities will
require the developer to furnish to the District detailed informa-
tion regarding types of construction and requirements for water and
electricity.
This action was taken by unanimous decision of the Board in
special session on August 23, 1976.
