Home My WebLink About1981-10-07 Min - Board V ' SPECIAL MEETING October 7, 1981 The special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District was called to order by President Huber at 3:03 P.M. in the District Manager's office. ROLL CALL: Directors Corbett, Duffy, Kuttel and Huber were present. Direc- tor Maass was absent. EMPLOYEES PRESENT: D. Eugene Holt was present. Mary Chapman, Office Manager, and Robert Slattery, General Foreman, were present for a portion of the meeting. CONSULTANTS PRESENT: John Phelps, Esq. , representing the District with respect to Union negotiations, was present. OTHERS PRESENT: There were no others present. CLOSED SESSION The meeting was adjourned to closed session for the purpose of discussing Union negotiations. RETURN TO PUBLIC SESSION At approximately 6:2 5 P.M. , the meeting was reconvened to public session. Director Duffy, now chairing the meeting, noted that President Huber left short- ly before the meeting returned to public session, and indicated Union negotia- tions and personnel matters were discussed during closed session. OFFICE REMODELING General Manager Holt noted that District Engineer Cook is preparing 4 plans for a required change in the customer service area. Thomas Mueller, contractor for the remodeling project, is also requesting that decisions be made with respect to baseboard f or' the carpet and the type of lettering for the District sign. The change orders and consideration of a time extension for the contractor should be reviewed as soon as possible. SPECIAL MEETING After some discussion, Director Corbett moved that the Board schedule a special meeting for 7:00 P.M. on Monday, October 12, 1981, to discuss Union negotiations and to consider building remodeling change orders and a possible- extension of the remodeling completion date. Director Kuttel seconded the motion. ROLL CALL: Huber and Maass, absent; all other Directors, aye. SO MOVED. ADJOURNMENT Director Kuttel moved that the meeting be adjourned at 6:31 P.M.
