HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-11-10 Min - Board k I 1 I 4 f 1 i SPECIAL MEETING November 10, 1983 1 The special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District was called to order by President Corbett at 3:3 5 P.M. in the TDPUD Board room. ROLL CALL: Directors Maass, VanLandingham and Corbett were present. Direc- tar Kuttel was absent. CONSULTANTS PRESENT: Interim Manager Seymour was present. f EMPLOYEES PRESENT: Susan Craig was present. 9 ORHWEA PEWAWNR: Dale Farrier. WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - DRANEY LOOP, PROJECT 83-1A - CONSIDERATION OF PROGRESS PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 1 - JOE SUTER CONSTRUCTION Mr. Seymour briefly explained the progress pay estimate of Joe Suter in the amount of $58,945.18 and, thereafter, Director Maass moved that pay- ment be made to Suter in that amount for the Draney Loop. Director VanLand- ingham. seconded the motion. ROLL CALL: Kutte l, absent; all other Directors,, aye. SO MOVED. Director Maass instructed the Manager to call Joe Suter and advise him when the check is ready to be picked up. ELECTRIC SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS - DONNER LAKE UNDERGROUND FEEDER - CONSIDERATION OF PROGRESS PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 2 - HARKER AND HARKER After reviewing the progress pay estimate of Harker and Harker in the amount of $4,095 for work on the Donner Lake underground feeder, Director Maass moved the Board approve payment. Director VanLandingham seconded the motion. ROLL CALL: Kuttel, absent; all ther Directors, aye. SO MOVED. VEHICLE MAINTENANCE - DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE DIRECTION - CONSIDERATION OF D & C ROADSIDE BILL - POSSIBLE APPROVAL Dale Farrier presented bills for all work on Units 10 and 12 authorized by Mr. Seymour to date. The Manager advised that the maintenance contract with Mid-Sierra is still in force, and after conversation with Mr. Williams, he does not expect any type of suit to be f i le d against the District. Director Maass moved, and Director VanLandingham seconded, that the bills presented by Mr. Farrier be paid. ROLL CALL: Kuttel, absent; all other Directors, aye. SO MOVED. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business before the Board, Director Maass moved that the meeting be adjourned; seconded by Director VanLandingham. SO MOVED at 3:44 P.M.
