Why this matter is before the board: The Donner Lake 6323 Tank project is complete. A resolution accepting the project requires Board approval. 2. History: The Board previously awarded the Donner Lake 6323 Tank project to Crosno Construction. No contract change orders have been brought to the Board for approval. A separate contract entitled Donner Lake Tank Earthwork and Piping for the tank site grading and piping was awarded to Suter Construction. That project was accepted for final completion by the Board on November 2, 2005. 3. New information: The contractor was required to construct the tank and coat the interior by December 30 2005, and was required to coat the exterior by June 20, 2006. Due to the light snow load this winter, the contractor was able to complete the interior and exterior coating ahead of schedule. On December 8, 2005, District staff performed a final walkthrough of the project and found no punch list issues needing to be addressed. We expect to put the tank into service in January after the Electric Department installs power and communications to the site. There are no change order issues associated with this project 4. Recommendation: I recommend that the Board pass a Resolution accepting the Donner Lake 6323 Tank project as complete and authorizing the filing of the Notice of Completion. s Page 1 7g r DONNER p_ 4 Public b District Resolution No. 2005 - XX AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF DONNER LAKE 6323 TANK PROJECT AND DIRECTING FILING OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District made the determination to undertake the Donner Lake 6323 Tank Project; and WHEREAS, Crosno Construction Inc. was selected by the District to perform the work; and WHEREAS, Crosno Construction Inc. has completed all of the Work included in the Project; and WHEREAS, The District's Engineer, Neil Kaufman, now certifies the completion of the project; and WHEREAS,the District's Water Utility Manager, Ed Taylor, has recommended that the work be accepted by the District; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the District as follows: 1.
