Subject: 2004 WATER SYSTEM MASTER PLAN UPDATE
1. WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD
Board action is required to adopt the Water Master Plan Update.
2. HISTORY
This draft Water System Master Plan Update was presented to the Board in a workshop on
February 18, 2004. Part of the Master Plan analyses was the addition of both Donner Lake
and Glenshire water systems to the District's service area since the last Master Plan in
2001. There was also identification of new facilities needed and the cost of those facilities.
The Board authorized the filing of the Negative Declaration and Environmental Study on
April 17, 2004. A Public Hearing was noticed and held on May 5. 2004. The CEQA review is
complete and adopted by the Board.
3. NEW INFORMATION
The CEQA is complete and adopted for the 2004 Water Master Plan Update. Staff is
requesting the Board of Directors adopt the 2004 Water Master Plan Update.
4. RECOMMENDATION
That the Board adopt the 2004 Water Master Plan Update.
